Information about House of Dr. Luis Santos
House of Dr. Luis Santos
Built in 1933 in Malolos, Bulacan, the House of Dr. Luis Santos is known for its Art Deco design. Named after the ophthalmologist who built it, the house has survived 90 years, but thanks to the upkeep of its caretakers, its façade and interior don’t reveal its age.
While the structure itself is impressive, the decor and other details are also noteworthy. Inside, visitors can find a bust of Dr. Luis Santos, a Fernando Amorsolo ceiling mural, old paintings, a grandfather clock, a piano, chandeliers, and even shelves filled with hardbound medical books. There is even a private chapel in the house where visitors will find a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes.
