Enjoy a day exploring the natural attractions of Ibajay, Aklan with this day tour. This is perfect for travelers who enjoy the great outdoors as it includes stops at Mount Balinsayaw, Katunggan It Ibajay, and Nawidwid Falls. It also comes with the services of a guide, all entrance fees, bottled water, snacks, packed lunch, and pick-up and drop-off from Kalibo, so you don’t have to worry about having to arrange all ofe these by yourself.
You’ll have a long day ahead of you, so prepare to wake up early on the day of your tour. You will be picked up from your accommodations in Kalibo at 5 AM or earlier. After being picked up, you will head to your first stop, Katunggan It Ibajay, a mangrove eco-park. Here you’ll find the biggest Avicennia Rumphiana mangrove tree in the Philippines, which stands at around 20 meters tall. You can explore the park easily by walking along the wooden walkways.
Next, you’ll go on a one-hour trek to reach Nawidwid Falls. Once you are there, you can enjoy the waters cascading from 50 meters above. Take a swim at the natural pool below and enjoy the scenery. Take some snaps before you leave for your next and final stop, Mount Balinsayaw.
To get to the peak of Mt. Balinsayaw, you’ll need to trek for around one hour. Upon reaching the top, you’ll be rewarded with views of lush greenery and grass swaying in the breeze. Rest and take in the sights and try some activities in Mt. Balinsayaw before heading back to the starting point. From there, your guide will bring you back to your hotel in Kalibo.

Pick-up time is at 5:00 AM Philippine Standard Time from any hotel within the vicinity of Kalibo proper, pick-up may also be arranged within Caticlan but it will be on a shared pick-up and drop off basis. To change the pick-up time and location please request in advance so our operator may check if the itinerary will fit as we may need to move the pick-up time if the location is far and additional fee may apply.
The operator may cancel the tour in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 24 hours before your original subject to approval.
