Witness the spectacular views of Boracay while sailing through its calm seas aboard a paraw (traditional sailboat). This tour is perfect for those looking for a more relaxed way of enjoying the island of Boracay. The tour is inclusive of a 30 minute morning paraw sailing activity, complete safety gear, and the services of a guide.
You will be meeting your guide at either Boracay Hotel Staton 1 Beach Front, Swiss Inn Station 3 Beachfront, or at Budget Mart Station 2 Main Road. You will then make your way to the activity area, where you will be transferred to your paraw sailing boat. The paraw is a boat with two outriggers and two sails, typically in the colors white and blue. After you don your life vests, you will hop aboard the paraw and get settled in. There is a stretched-out net between the outriggers for you to sit or lie on. The center is where the boatmen sit and your belongings are safely stored.
Once you get comfy, your boatmen will start to sail shortly. Sit back and relax as you sail through the calm waters of Boracay. Feel the cool breeze of the ocean and take in the serenity of the surroundings.
Paraw sailing was originally made for fishing before it became a mode of transportation for people and goods between different islands. The paraw also features an eco-friendly approach to sailing that relies mostly on a strong wind. Since it doesn’t use noisy motors, expect nothing but a peaceful moment out in the sea.
You will be sailing around the 4 KM White Beach, giving you a better view of what the Boracay beaches look like from a distance. Make sure to take lots of photos or time-lapse videos to keep as souvenirs before the end of the 30-minute paraw sailing activity.
Put an exciting twist to your viewing experience in Boracay Island with this paraw sailing activity. Check availability by choosing a date.
The operator may cancel the tour in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval.
