Description

Explore the idyllic Sabtang Island in Batanes when you book this day tour. This Batanes tour is perfect for first-time visitors as it will show you there is more to Batanes than its main island. This tour includes private transfers, a DOT-accredited tour guide, complimentary lunch, municipal fees, eco & PAMB fees, registration fees, roundtrip boat fare, and port terminal fees.

As you will be walking a lot during this trip, it's best to wear comfortable shoes for the day. If you are visiting from March to June, wear light and comfortable clothing. Meanwhile, pack waterproof clothes if you are traveling from July to November and warm clothing for December to February.

Your guide will fetch you from your accommodations at around 6 in the morning and then lead you to the seaport. From there, you will hop on a boat and cruise to Sabtang Island. When you arrive, you will start your tour with a visit to Morong Beach. This unspoiled hideaway boasts powdery white sand, clear waters, and a picturesque rock formation called the Nakabuang Arch.

Afterward, you will head to San Vicente Ferrer Church, recognized as a National Historical Landmark and featuring a slightly Baroque design, mainly seen in its retablo.

Next, you will go to Barangay Sinakan and Savidug Stone Houses, which are traditional homes maintained by the Ivatans, the indigenous people of Batanes, showcasing their heritage.

Continuing the tour, you will visit Sto. Thomas Aquinas Chapel, the Lime Kiln, and Savidug Idiang before checking out the Sleeping Beauty Hills, which got its name from its resemblance to a sleeping woman. You’ll then visit Chamantad Tinyan Viewpoint, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of verdant rolling hills and Chamantad Cove.

Next, you will visit the Chavayan Village and see centuries-old stone houses. While in here, you’ll see the Kissing Rock, a unique rock formation. Finally, after your lunch at Barangay Malakdang, you will stop by Sta Rosa De Lima Chapel, known for its use of cogon grass for roofing.
