Discover a whole new world underneath the waves with this beginner-friendly scuba diving introduction in Panglao, Bohol. If you want to try scuba diving but are not quite sure yet about undergoing a certification course, then this half-day program is perfect for you. This program includes 2 open water dives, rental diving gear, the service of a diving instructor, snacks, fruits, a beverage, and free pick-up from Tawala or Danao on Panglao Island.
On the day of your dives, you will be fetched from any hotel within Tawala and Danao Area in Panglao, and you will be taken directly to the Haka Dive Center. Once there, you will first be given a brief background of diving. The program allows you to learn the basic skills needed to explore the underwater world without the pressure of earning a certification but still under the direct supervision of a professional. What’s more exciting is that no prior diving experience is needed to qualify for the program. The only requirements are that you must be at least ten years old and in reasonable physical health.
Part of the program is a classroom session led by a certified professional PADI instructor. In the class, aside from safety guidelines, guests will learn how to use scuba equipment during the dive. A video will be shown to paint a clearer picture of what to expect during the dive.
After the lecture, you will don your gear and head to the boat that will take you to your diving spot. This spot is very beginner-friendly, and your divemaster will be with you every step of the way. You will get to experience the beautiful marine life of Panglao up to a maximum depth of 12 meters. Enjoy swimming with the numerous variety of fishes in the area and be amazed by the colorful coral reefs blanketing the ocean floor. Since Panglao boasts some of the most breathtaking diving spots in the region, expect no less than a fun dive.

Good to know
This is a private session but you are going to share the boat with other divers. This is open for non-experienced divers and does not require a PADI certification Dive computer is not yet included but may be booked as an add-on.
Children Friendly: Yes. 10 years old and above with adult supervision are allowed in this activity.
Pet Friendly: No. Please understand that this is for your fur baby's safety.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: This may be a medium to extreme activity so we suggest to consult with your physician before proceeding with your booking.
The free shuttle pick-up time may vary depending on your hotel in Tawala or Danao Area, you may also meet-up with your dive master at 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time at Haka Dive Center. To change the pick-up or meet-up time and location please request in advance so our operator may check if the itinerary will fit as we may need to move the boat schedule and additional fee may apply.
The operator may cancel the tour in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval.
