Description

Immerse in the vibrant culture of Cebu City by going on this sightseeing tour to historical sites in and around the city. This is a perfect trip for travelers who want to learn more about Cebu as you will visit spots rich with stories about the province and the city. The tour also comes with the service of a guide, transfers to each attraction, and free pick-up and drop-off within Cebu City or Mactan Island.

Your guide will fetch you from your hotel at 8 AM. From there, you will make your way to the Sirao Garden. This flower farm is often called the "Little Amsterdam of Cebu" as its colorful blooms resemble the famous flower fields of Amsterdam. From there, you will visit the grand Temple of Leah. Similar to India's iconic Taj Mahal, this temple is also a mausoleum born out of a husband's love for a late wife.

After your time wandering through the spacious halls, you can stop over for lunch at a local restaurant out of pocket. Some of the best places to eat at are the House of Lechon and La Vie Parisienne. Once you've had your fill, you will continue to the Heritage of Cebu Monument, which comprises different sculptures that depict important events in the province's history.

You will then dive deeper into the heritage of Cebu by visiting Fort San Pedro, which also houses a museum with artifacts dating back to the Spanish Colonial era in the country. Next, you will drop by the Basilica Santo Nino Church, which is recognized as the oldest Roman Catholic church in the Philippines.

You will also visit the Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House, which has been converted into a museum that showcases the early lives of the first Chinese families that settled in the province. Finally, you will wrap up your tour at the site of Magellan's Cross. This wooden cross encases the original cross planted by the Portuguese explorer who completed the first circumnavigation of the world in 1521.
