Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and bring you on a scenic drive through the coastal roads of Bohol. Upon arrival at Daet Bridge, you will then board a paddle boat and go on a river cruise towards the village of Cambuhat. You will be surrounded by winding mangrove and nipa palms while on the way. When you get to the village, you will be led to the oyster farm to learn about how the locals grow oysters and how this benefits their community. Of course, you will be offered a scrumptious feast of oysters and various seafood, freshly harvested by the locals.
You will also be entertained with the Buri dance, a depiction of how they make sago out of the Buri palm tree. Feel free to join in on the dance, as well. Afterward, you will embark on a walking tour where the locals will show you how they weave raffia using native looms. There will also be demonstrations of broom making and mat weaving, both of which make use of Buri.
After learning about the culture of the people from Cambuhat Oyster Village, you will be driven back to the city, while making a few stops to see the churches of Loon and Maribojoc. Loon Church was once the biggest church in Bohol, and Maribojoc Church was declared a National Cultural Treasure. However, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in 2013 caused damage to these two churches, and they are now in the process of rebuilding.
