Get introduced to Cebu City’s heritage and history as you go around the town’s iconic hotspots. If you’re looking for a way to best spend a day in the province, then nothing is better than visiting the Queen City of the South’s highlights.

Your private tour begins early in the morning when you’re picked up from Cebu City or Mactan and taken to the mountain barangay of Busay. This is where the Sirao Flower Garden and the Temple of Leah are located. The Sirao Flower Garden attracts hundreds of visitors thanks to its sprawling sunflower and celosia fields that are reminiscent of the colorful flower beds in Holland. That is why the garden has been dubbed the “Little Amsterdam of Cebu.” Aside from the flowers, the farm has charming garden accents like a small windmill, colorful hanging hats, hand- and heart-shaped sculptures, and other decors that make for a perfect backdrop for photos.

You will then proceed to the Temple of Leah, also referred to as the “Taj Mahal of Cebu.” It is a Roman/Greek-inspired structure built as a man’s symbol of love for his late wife. It has a library, an art gallery, and a museum of items that once belonged to her.

From Busay, you will go back to Cebu City to visit several historic attractions, starting with the Magellan’s Cross. The iconic Magellan’s Cross is believed to be the wooden cross planted in Mactan by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan in 1521. It is considered an important symbol in the establishment of Roman Catholicism in the country.

From there, you will be taken to the Basilica del Sto. Niño. It serves as the first Roman Catholic church in the Philippines and the home to the country’s oldest Catholic relic. The church has been through fires and earthquakes, yet it remains one of the oldest surviving — and functioning — churches in the country. You will have a quick stopover at the Heritage of Cebu Monument for some photo-ops before you head over to the Yap-Sandiego House. It is one of the oldest houses in the Philippines and its original structure still stands to this day.

You will also visit the Taoist Temple of Cebu before you go on a running tour of Colon Street, the oldest surviving street in the Philippines; Fuente Osmeña Circle, and the Capitol. Afterward, you will head back on the road to your accommodation.
