Discover Guimaras Island and its top attractions on this day tour, inclusive of ferry fare from Iloilo, air-conditioned van transfers, entrance fees, environmental fees, snacks, plated lunch, hygiene kit, souvenir, floating cottage experience, and services of a guide. This tour is perfect for visitors seeking an escape to an island with captivating landscapes, stunning white-sand beaches, and the sweetest mangoes in the country.

Your tour will start once you’re picked up from Parola Wharf in Iloilo. From there, you will be taken to Jordan Wharf in Guimaras. Once you arrive on the island and register at the tourism desk, you will head to the Mango Icon for a quick photo-op.

Don’t put away your camera just yet, as you will see more iconic backdrops at the Smallest Plaza in the town of Jordan. The Guinness Book of Records once awarded it with the Smallest Plaza in the World title until another country took the said record. Still, the plaza remains the smallest one in the Philippines and features a statue of the Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, at the center.

Head over to Sitio Alubihod next for the Charles Floating Cottage experience. You will do some recreational activities like the Tarzan swing, diving board area, kiddie pool, adult pool, and more. You will also have your plated lunch here before continuing the land tour.

You will then learn more about one of Guimaras’ historical sites at Guisi Lighthouse. Explore the ruins of the 18th-century Spanish-era lighthouse recognized as the second oldest lighthouse in the Philippines. It also provides a great view of the white sand beach and turquoise waters of Nueva Valencia.

Head next to the Guimaras Signage at the provincial capitol for another round of photos before making your way to Our Lady of the Philippines Monastery or Trappist Monastery, the only Trappist monastery in the country run by monks. The serenity of the place is perfect for taking a break to reflect, pray, and meditate.

In the monastery, their gift shop is not to be missed that sells different mango-flavored snacks from jams, candies, polvoron to barquillos, bischocho, and otap. From there, you will be taken for a stroll around the Mango Plantation, which is near the monastery.

A visit to the souvenir centers of the island is next, followed by a stopover at the Mango Market, where you can purchase kilos of ripe, sweet mangoes. Cap off your tour with a scenic view of 27 windmills scattered around the lush green field and mountains of San Lorenzo. It is considered the first wind farm in the Visayas and its turbines produce 54 megawatts of renewable energy. Climb up a hill for a more panoramic view of the windmills before heading to Fatima Farm for a quick farm organic experience.

Uncover the captivating beauty of Guimaras beyond its famed mangoes with this day tour. Check availability by choosing a date.
