Description

Go on a scenic drive through the countryside of Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte with this whole-day Pagudpud tour from Laoag City. With an itinerary packed with the province’s natural attractions, this package is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who want to immerse in the breathtaking scenery of Pagudpud. The tour also includes air-conditioned transfers, hotel pick-up and drop-off, entrance fees to the attractions, water, and service of a guide.

Your tour begins when your guide fetches you from your accommodation in Laoag City in the morning. From there, you will drive to Burgos town to visit the first stop of your tour: Cape Bojeador. This coastal town features a historical lighthouse that dates back to 1892. The lighthouse is stationed on Nagpartian Hill and still shines a light for ships passing and entering the Philippines.

Afterward, you will head down to the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, where you can find white-washed rocks of different shapes and sizes. “Puraw” means “white” in Ilokano, hence the name of this attraction. Set against the backdrop of the sea, the contrasting white rock formations can serve as a beautiful setting for photos. The main draw of this destination is the anvil-like rock facing the sea.

Take as many pictures as you want before continuing onto the Bangui Windmills. There are 20 wind turbines here that stand in a single line stretching as far as nine kilometers. While they have become another beautiful tourist spot in the area, these turbines also provide wind energy to the province.

From there, you will hop back in the van and drive along the Patapat Viaduct, a coastal bridge that goes on for 12 kilometers. Situated about 31 meters above sea level, it provides panoramic views of Pasaleng Bay and nearby mountains. Stop by the side of the road for a while to take pictures and take in the cool, fresh countryside breeze before going to your last stop of the day, the Blue Lagoon.

This Pagudpud beach boasts stunning white sand and clear waters that are ideal for swimming or snorkeling. Feel free to take off your shoes and feel the sand between your toes as you stroll along the shore and enjoy the scenery. Make sure to take photos as well before heading back to your hotel and calling it a day.

Visit the natural wonders around Pagudpud with this whole-day Ilocos Norte tour. Check availability by choosing a date.
