Go on an island-hopping shared tour and do a helmet diving activity that will level up your underwater exploration in Boracay. Depending on which months you’re visiting Boracay, be ready to explore the following destinations: Ilig-Iligan Beach, Crocodile Island, and Starfish Garden (best toured between June and November), or Coral Garden, Balinghai Beach, and Puka Beach (best toured between December and May). The tour’s pick-up point is within Boracay island’s Station 1, 2, or 3.
Ilig Iligan Beach lies east of the island of Boracay, offering total privacy from the big crowds that you usually find in more popular beaches. Sunbathe on the soft milky white sand and go for a swim in clean, cool waters with blue-green hues. Try snorkeling, exploring caves, and swimming around the cliff to get a full Ilig Iligan Beach experience.
A wide range of water activities also awaits you at Crocodile Island, named as such because the island seems to take on the shape of a crocodile’s head. When tide and weather conditions are perfect, make sure to bring out your snorkeling gear as you don’t want to miss seeing the rich marine life underneath, which includes beautiful corals and fish wrasses.
You’ll also be making a stop at the Starfish Garden if the weather and currents are suitable enough for snorkeling.
For December to May tours, your first island hopping stop is at Coral Garden. Also known as House Reef, this diving spot is right at the center of Boracay’s west coast. Aside from the coral reefs, you’ll enjoy the fish-feeding area here, where you’ll see different species of exotic and tropical fishes.
Shortly after, you’ll be heading to two notable beaches, namely Balinghai Beach and Puka Beach. Both are private beaches, so you’ll enjoy the peace and quiet of these tropical havens.
To cap off your tour, you’ll be walking on ocean floors as an aquanaut! This uniquely fun water activity will be held in Boracay Island’s activity area and will have you wearing a special glass helmet as you go approximately 3 meters deep underwater. For about 15 minutes, you’ll have a chance to walk alongside clams and several species of fishes in true aquanaut fashion.
Your tour will entitle you to a standard lunch meal at Tabon Beach as well as free use of life jacket, snorkeling gear, and selected on-site amenities.
