The cave features various rock formations, with some said to resemble giant sea turtle ("pawikan" in Tagalog) eggs, hence its name.
After exploring the cave's numerous caverns, you will be given time to watch the sunset on Gigantes Island before heading back to the port. You will then be escorted to your accommodation, where you will have the rest of the evening to yourself. The next morning, you will embark on an island-hopping tour.
During this excursion, you will visit Pulupandan Island, the famed Cabugao Gamay, Antonia Beach, Puting Baybay Gamay, Bantigue Sandbar, and the Enchanted Lagoon. Day 1 - Day 1: Arrival & Pawikan Cave Tour
On day 1, you will go on a tour of Iloilo's popular Pawikan Cave. This cave features numerous caverns and rock formations, with some said to resemble giant sea turtle eggs. After walking through the spacious caverns, you can take the time to enjoy the day's sunset on the island's shore before sailing back to the Bancal Port and checking in at your accommodations.
Day 2 - Day 2: Island-Hopping Tour
Today, you'll join a group island-hopping excursion to Islas de Gigantes. Pulupandan Island, Cabugao Gamay, Antonia Beach, Puting Baybay Gamay, Bantigue Sandbar, and Enchanted Lake will be visited during the tour. Following that, you will be led back to your accommodations, where you can spend the remainder of the evening as you choose.
Day 3 - Day 3: Checkout + Departure
Feel free to savor your breakfast on the last day of your vacation before packing up. After checking out, proceed to the local port to catch a boat back to Bancal Port.

Tour Information: This is a shared tour available daily starting 8:00 AM but may be moved upon guest request and depending on the weather. Bring your own snorkeling gear should you wish to do the activity. Cliff dive on your own risk. Always listen to the tour guide present for guest safety and protection. Jetski and banana boat is available for advance reservation. Other activities not indicated are to be paid on site should guests want to avail themselves. Some destinations may be changed subject to weather conditions and water current.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at The Bancal Port Carles at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. To arrange for a private hotel pick-up and drop-off, please email booking@guidetothephilippines.ph. Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: Yes. However, please be advised that this tour includes mostly island hopping tours and may not be suitable for PWDs or individuals with existing cardiovascular ailments.
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
