Description

Immerse in the rich culture and breathtaking sceneries of Laguna and Quezon through this food and heritage day tour. This experience is best suited for nature lovers and foodies as you will visit a serene lake, a sunflower farm, and taste local delicacies. The package already includes free pick-up and drop-off within Makati City, transfers, the service of a guide, and a food tasting session.

You will be fetched from your accommodation or agreed-upon pick-up point in Makati City on the day of your tour. From there, you will begin making your way south to the municipality of San Pablo in Laguna. Your first stop will be Casa San Pablo, a cozy family-run bed and breakfast.

A highlight of your time here will be the cooking demo of how locals use coconut milk to cook delicious recipes. During this demo, you will learn how Adobong Manok sa Gata, Kulawo, and Ginataang Hipon are made. In the end, you will also get to taste the Kulawo. You will also be able to tour Casa San Pablo's Farm during your visit.

Following your snack, you will go on a running tour of San Pablo. This tour will take you by the area's famed seven lakes (Sampaloc, Bunot, Calibato, Pandin, Yambo, Palakpakin, and Mohicap) and the historic San Pablo Cathedral. Afterward, you will head to Lake Pandin for some rafting and a tasty lunch.

After your meal, you will visit the Sunshine Farm in Tiaong in the nearby province of Quezon. The sunflower farm employs persons with disabilities, giving them the chance to have their own livelihood. While on the farm, you can take photos of and with the different kinds of sunflowers and other plants. Your last stop is at Earthkeepers' Garden & Restaurant, still in Tiaong, where you will enjoy a demonstration of how okoy and monkey burger is made. You'll also enjoy light snacks here before heading back to Makati.
