Experience an off-road adventure when you book this Mayon ATV Lava Trail activity in Albay, which will let you drive to the closest viewpoint from Mayon Volcano with an ATV. This activity is perfect for those who want to see the outdoor beauty of Albay, as the ATV route will pass by several tourist sites before stopping at the foot of Albay’s perfect volcanic cone, Mount Mayon. This activity comes with the use of safety gear and the ATV unit and the assistance of a guide. The whole experience will last for around 2 to 3 hours.
Please note that children aged 10 and below can back ride with an adult for free, while those aged 11 to 17 are already considered an adult and may be allowed to ride their own ATV if they show good driving skills during the practice drive. Those aged 11 to 15 may also choose to back ride with an adult for a fee, provided that the total weight of both passengers does not exceed 100kg. For safety purposes, pregnant women are not allowed to join this activity.
You may choose your own schedule, as this activity can be experienced from 7 AM to 5 PM. Before you go on the actual ATV ride, you need to register and sign a waiver at the activity area. Your guide will then give you a safety briefing before you can practice driving the ATV. Once the guide is happy with your driving, you will begin your ATV ride.
You’ll go on a mostly off-road route that will take you to the SkyDrive Combo Trail. This trail will take you through rivers and lahar-covered areas to ensure a thrilling ride. You’ll also pass by the Budiao Church ruins. Built in 1798, the church was ultimately destroyed by the 1814 eruption of Mount Mayon, when lava ravaged the structure. Subsequent eruptions led to the church being buried even deeper.
Before going to the viewpoint of Mayon Volcano, you’ll pass by a coconut plantation that will provide you with a beautiful view. You’ll be rewarded with an even more stunning sight once you reach the Mayon Volcano viewpoint, which is just 200 meters away from the newest lava rocks, which were created by the 2018 eruption. You’ll also see deep gullies and an overlooking view of Legazpi City and other Albay towns.

This is a private tour. We suggest to wear comfortable clothes. Environmental fee is not yet included, you will need to pay this on site. Each rider shall register and sign the necessary waiver before operating any ATV unit. Safety orientation and actual driving practice will be conducted prior the ATV ride for proper assessment. Please note that the rate for ATV ride is per person, back-riding adult will pay the same amount with the driving adult. For safety purposes, pregnant women are not allowed to join the activity.

This tour is available daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Philippine Standard Time proceed directly to Mayon Skydrive and show your booking voucher. To change the meet-up time and location please request in advance so our operator may check if the itinerary will fit as we may need to move the pick-up time if the location is far and additional fee may apply.
The operator may cancel the tour in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval.
