Learn how to take beautiful underwater shots when you dive with this specialty course by Skylodge Resort Dive Shop in Coron, Palawan. This course is perfect for open water diving certified divers who want to upgrade their diving skills and master underwater photography. It already comes with three open water dives, the use of tanks, diving gear, and underwater photography equipment, the assistance of an instructor, drinks, and lunch.
Before booking this course, make sure that any inbound or outbound flights are scheduled at least 24 hours before or after your dives. On the day of your course, head to Skylodge Resort Dive Shop. Your course starts at 8 AM so make sure you arrive on time.
For this course, you will dive in three different dive sites in Coron. Depending on the weather conditions, this could include Coron’s famous wreck diving sites. Your dives will reach a maximum depth of 18 meters. In these dives, your instructor will teach you tips and tricks for taking beautiful underwater photos. You’ll learn how to work with underwater lighting, enhance color, and avoid backscatter.
In between dives, you will have drinks and lunch to ensure that you have the energy to finish your course, which will last until around 6 PM.
If you are planning to get an Advanced Open Water Diving Certification, the first dive of this course may count as one of the required dives, but this must be confirmed with your instructor.

Good to know
Diving Requirements - Minimum age to dive is 14 years old. Open water diving certificate is required. Recommended minimum preflight surface interval is 24 hours. Not recommended for divers taking maintenance drugs. A Fit to Dive Consent Form from a physician is strictly required for divers taking maintenance drugs.
Underwater Photography - Subjects of underwater photography depends on actual marine life sightings at the time of diving.
Dive Sites - Dive site/s are determined on the dive day depending on weather. Available dive sites are as follows: 1. Dimanglet Reef, 2. Siete Pecados, 3. Olympia Maru (30m) Cargo Ship, 4. Morazan Maru (25m) Cargo Ship, 5. Kogyo Mar (35m) Construction Supply Ship, 6. Iraku Maru (45m) Refrigeration Ship, 7. Akit Sushima (35m) Fighter Ship and 8. Ukikawa Maru (25m) Oil Tanker Ship
Dive Equipment (Add-on) - You may add the following equipment for a better diving experience:
15L Tank - The 15-liter tank increases the amount of gas available by 25% compared to the 12-liter tank. It also provides more gas for a longer bottom time.
Nitrox Tank - Few substantial advantages of upgrading to a Nitrox Tank are longer bottom times, less fatigue, longer dive times and shorter surface intervals.
Dive Computer - A dive computer provides the real-time dive information you need to dive well. A dive computer takes depth and time information and applies it to a decompression model to track the dissolved nitrogen in your body during a dive. Your computer continuously tells you how much dive time you safely have remaining.
Health & Safety Protocols - COVID protocols in place. Face mask, hand washing, gear disinfection, and the like.
