Explore majestic waterfalls when you visit some of Real, Quezon’s breathtaking cascades with this day tour from Manila. This trip is perfect for those looking for a refreshing break from the busy city life or those looking for adrenaline-pumping activities outdoors.
You will be fetched from your hotel or accommodation within Manila or Makati area. From here, the journey takes about 4 hours to reach Real, Quezon. It may sound like quite the road trip but as soon as you hear the sound of rumbling waters cascading down into stunning pools, the travel time will be worth it.
Before heading out to two of Real’s many majestic waterfalls, the first stop on the itinerary is a whitewater rafting adventure along Tignoan River in the locality of Tanauan. You will be sitting on bamboo planks attached to tire tubes that are tied together to form a raft. The ride starts out smoothly until the paddlers navigate through visible rocks and rumbling waters that signal that it is now going to be a wild ride!
From here, you will proceed to the first waterfall spot of this tour. Balagbag Falls is a stunning two-tiered waterfall that can be reached in about 5 minutes via an easy trail from the main Real-Mauban road. The first level is roughly five meters high and waters plunge into a deep pool basin, which is why it's a favorite spot for cliff jumpers. To get to the second level, you must take some steps up a trail on the left side of the falls and then soak in the beauty of its 25-meter high cascade.
Not too far away is Noknok Falls, or also known as Lunok Falls. It is much shorter than Balagbag but its 10-meter cascade is surrounded by rock formations, naturally and wonderfully carved through time, and enveloped by lush greens providing for a scenic view altogether.
An adventure-filled day out with nature awaits when you book this Real Quezon waterfalls tour! Check the availability by choosing a date.
