This flexible tour package is perfect for those who want to explore one of the most popular summer vacation spots of the Philippines without the hassle of finding accommodations, booking Baguio tour packages, or handling transport services yourself.
Baguio City is known as the Philippines’ Summer Capital because of its chilly weather climate compared to the tropical climate in most low-land areas in Luzon. It is home to iconic cultural sites such as the Diplomat Hotel, Baguio Cathedral, and Mansion House, which are attractions that are part of your tour package.
Your accommodations will be at the Venus Parkview Hotel, a budget hotel ideally situated at a central location standing just 6 KM from other tourist sites that you will explore, namely Camp John Hay, Baguio Botanical Garden, Mirador Retreat House, Good Shepherd Convent, and Wright Park.
If you choose to go for a hotel upgrade, you will stay at The Forest Lodge Baguio in Camp John Hay, a place surrounded by pine trees with fun amenities like a zip line course, golf course, and butterfly sanctuary.
Get to know Baguio’s rich cultural heritage when you book this 4 days and 3 nights Cultural and Sightseeing Tour and enrich your experience by adding optional tour packages to your itinerary. Check availability by choosing a date.
Upon arrival at the Venus Parkview Hotel, proceed to the reception to check-in. Enjoy your room’s modern amenities like high-speed wifi and electronic key cards as you settle into the crisp mountain air. Those who checked in at the Forest Lodge Baguio can shop at a nearby retail outlet called the Mile High.
Rise early to enjoy the chilly Baguio weather while enjoying your complimentary breakfast. After your meal, get ready to explore the city’s famous tourist attractions, starting with Camp John Hay, a former U.S. military base that now houses a watershed reservation, 2 hotels, an amphitheater, and a multi-terraced flower garden at an American colonial structure called the Bell House.
Next, you’ll proceed to The Mansion House, the official summer residence of Presidents of the Philippines, followed by Wright Park, located right across and easily distinguishable with its Pool of Pines, leafy walkways, and horses for rent. Afterward, you’ll head to Good Shepherd Convent where you can buy souvenir products like “ube” jam and strawberry preserves. Next is the Baguio Botanical Garden or Igorot Village, where native huts and lush greenery are found.
On the next leg of your tour, you’ll visit a Silver Craft shop for handcrafted jewelry. Then you’ll proceed to Baguio Cathedral, a well-known Catholic church situated along Session Road that is otherwise known as Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral. You’ll set foot on a couple of hilly tourist sites before the day ends; first is a rumored haunted building sitting on top of Dominican Hill called The Diplomat Hotel, and next is a Jesuit sanctuary called the Mirador Retreat House.
On your second full day in the City of Pines, you can either spend a leisurely day at the hotel and explore Baguio at your own pace, or you can opt to join another well-planned itinerary to make the most of your time in the city. If you choose the latter, there are 4 optional tours to consider as an add-on service.
You have the Arts and Museum tour if you want to visit unique artist communities, or the Culinary, Coffee, Beer and Sightseeing tour to unleash your inner foodie. Non-coffee drinkers might opt to go for the Culinary, Chocolate, Beer & Sightseeing tour, while those looking for a relaxing day in nature should try the Forest Bathing & Wellness Tour.
Make the most of the time you have left in Baguio by taking pictures or grabbing some souvenirs before preparing for your trip back to Manila.
