Explore the lively marine ecosystem of Coron, Palawan, with this five-day budget diving package. This is an ideal trip for novice divers wanting to get certified, as you will be taking an Open Water Diver Course. The package also comes with roundtrip flights from Manila, a four-night stay at Skylodge Resort, daily breakfast, roundtrip airport transfers, and eight dives. You may also choose your preferred flight times, depending on availability.
On day 1, you will fly from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Coron via your chosen Philippine Airlines flight. After you land at the Busuanga Airport, a driver will bring you to Skylodge Resort, where you will check into your Budget Double Room. You will also be treated to welcome drinks as you settle in. Afterward, you will have the remainder of the day to yourself.
The next day, you will go on two pool dives as you undergo academic sessions of your Open Water Diver Course. Following your dives, you can relax in the resort or take a stroll to nearby shops and restaurants. For day 3, you will go on three open water dives around three different dive sites in Coron. Each dive also includes one confined water part and one open water part.
On the fourth day, you will go on the last three dives for the trip. For each dive, you will explore a new dive site or shipwreck around Coron Island as well. Along with the dives, you will also take a written multiple-choice-type exam. This test has 50 questions to test your knowledge of scuba diving. If you pass the exam and do well on your dives, you will receive your Open Water Diver Certificate, which proves that you have a good understanding of how to manage yourself during a dive.
The following morning, you will check out of the resort as your diving adventure ends. Make sure to eat your complimentary breakfast before you request to be dropped off at the Busuanga Airport for your selected return flight to Manila.

Daily itinerary
Day 1 - Day 1: Arrival + Check-in
You will board your selected Philippine Airlines flight to Coron. A driver will meet you when you land and bring you to Skylodge Resort so you can check into your Budget Double Room. The remainder of the day will be yours to spend as you like.
Day 2 - Day 2: Pool dives + Academics sessions
The following day, you will start your Open Water Diver Course with academic sessions and two pool dives. This session will help you understand the various diving terminologies and practice your movement underwater.
Day 3 - Day 3: Open water dives (12m max)
You will continue your certification course the following day with three open water dives. Each dive will take place in a different dive site around Coron Island. For your safety, you can only go as deep as 12 meters during this session under the supervision of your instructor.
Day 4 - Day 4: Open water dives (18m max)
For the fourth day of your trip, you will go on three more open water dives as part of the course. Like yesterday, each dive will happen in a different dive site but this time, you can dive up to 18 meters with your instructor. Afterward, you will take a written exam to assess how well you’ve mastered the lessons. If you pass, you will be rewarded with your Open Water Diver Certificate.
Day 5 - Day 5: Checkout + Departure
After earning your first certification as a diver, you will fly out of Coron on day 5. Once you’ve finished your breakfast, you can take a moment to rest before checking out. A driver will take you back to the Busuanga Airport in time for your chosen Philippine Airlines flight back to Manila.

Diving Requirements - Minimum age to dive is 14 years old. Recommended minimum preflight surface interval is 24 hours. Not recommended for divers taking maintenance drugs. A Fit to Dive Consent Form from a physician is strictly required.
Hotel - Standard check-in time is 1500H PST. Standard check-out time is 1200H PST. Requests for early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and fees. Refundable incidental deposit is required upon check-in. Guest/s are required to present a valid credit card guarantee or cash deposit. Bookings for one person will be arranged in single rooms, and bookings for two or more people will share a twin/double, or triple room(s).
