1-Week Cebu, Puerto Princesa to El Nido Tour Package Beaches & Nature Itinerary Philippines

The next morning of this Philippines itinerary, you’ll be brought back to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport for your flight to the island province of Cebu. After you arrive at the Cebu-Mactan International Airport, you’ll be transported to your assigned hotel to check in. 

You will then have the opportunity to explore at your leisure. You can also book an optional tour that will take you to the top attractions in and around Cebu City such as Magellan’s Cross, the Basilica Del Sto. Niño, The Heritage of Cebu Monument, Yap San Diego House, and the Pedro Calungsod Church.

For the third day of your Philippine adventure, embark on an exciting island-hopping day tour with a knowledgeable local guide by your side. Explore the stunning Pescador Island and be mesmerized by its vibrant marine life and captivating coral formations. Witness the breathtaking spectacle of the sardine run, where you'll see thousands of shimmering sardines in crystal-clear waters. Then, head to Turtle Bay, a sanctuary for these majestic creatures, and have an unforgettable encounter with the gentle sea turtles. But remember that while it is likely that you will encounter turtles during this tour, it cannot be guaranteed. 

On day 4, you’ll be brought back to the Mactan-Cebu International Airport for your flight to Puerto Princesa in Palawan. After arriving at the Puerto Princesa International Airport, a driver will fetch you to take you straight to your assigned hotel. Once you’ve settled into your accommodations, you’ll have the rest of the day to yourself. 

Some of the best attractions you can visit that are located in and around Puerto Princesa’s city proper include Baker’s Hill, and Mitra’s Ranch. You can also enjoy a stroll at Plaza Cuartel and along the Puerto Princesa Baywalk. If you’re curious about the local dining scene, consider stopping by the Palaweno Brewery to taste their selection of craft beers. 
 

The next morning, get ready for fun and exploration on a tour of the Philippines' top attraction. You'll be picked up from your accommodations at 7 AM for your tour of the world-famous Puerto Princesa Underground River. From the city proper, you'll head to the Sabang Wharf to take a motorized boat to the Subterranean River National Park, where the underground river is located.

At the park, you'll transfer into a paddle boat that will take you through the river. As you make your way inside, you'll spot striking rock formations coming from above and below the caves' ceiling and floor. You'll also get to see colonies of bats that call the caverns their home. Thanks to the river's biodiversity, it has been hailed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Philippines.
 

On day 6, a driver will pick you up from your Puerto Princesa accommodations and transport you to your assigned hotel in El Nido. After settling in, you'll go on a shared island-hopping tour. This tour will take the A route, which includes stops at some of El Nido's best beaches and lagoons. 

Your first stop will be the Big Lagoon, where you can rent a kayak and paddle across the clear waters. Afterward, you'll set sail for Secret Lagoon. Hidden by karst cliffs, the waters here are generally calm and perfect for a refreshing swim. 

The next stop will be Payong Payong Beach, where you can wade into the cool waters or relax on the powdery shore. From there, you'll drop by Shimizu Island to snorkel. Finally, you will wrap up your tour at Seven Commandos Beach. 
 

On day 7, take advantage of the rest of your time in El Nido by visiting nearby local shops and cafes before checking out. When you’re ready to go, a driver will pick you up and take you to the Lio Airport in time for your flight back to Manila.
