After landing in Coron, you will meet up with your transfer, who will bring you to the Tao Sangat Island Dive Resort. You will check into a Hillside Chalet at the Coron dive resort for 6 nights.
Your PADI Open Water Diving Course will start on day 2 and end on day 4. The course will teach you the basics of scuba diving. It comes with 5 shallow-water dives, and once you’ve mastered those, you will go on 4 more extensive open-water dives. All dives will take place in various dive locations under the supervision of a PADI-certified instructor. After completing all your dives, you will be a PADI-certified open-water diver.
Days 5 and 6 are free days that you can use to explore Coron on your own. On your last day, you’ll be picked up by your transfer after you have breakfast and finish checking out of the resort. Checking out marks the end of your Coron diving package.

Day 1 - Day 1: Arrival + Check-in
After arriving at the Coron Airport, a designated driver will welcome you and escort you to the local port. From there, you will hop on a boat and go on a quick cruise to reach the resort. When you arrive at the island resort, the staff will help you check into your Hillside Chalet, where you will be spending the next 6 nights.
Once you've settled down, you can spend the rest of the day however you like. If you wanna get a headstart on your diving training, you can go snorkeling to get a peek at the nearby waters and the marine ecosystem in the area. You can also go trekking to see more of the island or schedule a massage to recharge and soothe your body before starting your certification program.
Day 2 - Day 2: PADI Open Water Diving Course
Your free Open Water Diving Course begins today and will last until day 4 of your vacation. Throughout this course, you will review the basics of scuba diving and go on 5 shallow-water dives before going on 4 extensive dives. All dives will be supervised by a PADI-certified instructor and will take place in various dive sites around the island. You won’t have to worry about bringing your own gear as well since the resort will provide rental equipment that you can use during your dives.
Day 3 - Day 3: PADI Open Water Diving Course
You will continue your open water diving course today. Explore the waters of Sangat as you continue with your dives to help you become a PADI-certified open water diver.
Day 4 - Day 4: PADI Open Water Diving Course
If your dives so far are successful, today should be the last day of your diving course. If you complete all dives with no issues and your instructor deems you fit for open-water diving, you will be granted your open-water diving certification today.
Day 5 - Day 5: Free Time
Today you are free to explore Sangat and Coron on your own. After exerting energy finishing your diving course during the last few days, you can take advantage of the resort's facilities and rest and recharge as you enjoy the beautiful views surrounding you.
Day 6 - Day 5: Free Time
Feel free to explore Coron or take advantage of the resort’s facilities. Among the best tourist spots you can visit in Coron are Kayangan Lake, Barracuda Lake, Siete Pecados, Malcapuya Island, and Twin Lagoon. Since they are all only accessible by boats, you can go on island-hopping tours to visit most if not all of them in one day.
Day 7 - Day 7: Checkout + Departure
On day 7, you can take the time to lounge on the beach or use more of the resort’s facilities before checking out. When you’re ready to leave, you’ll take a boat back to the mainland. From there, a transfer will take you back to the airport. While waiting for your flight, you can shop for last-minute souvenirs or even local delicacies at the airport shops.

Booking Information - Upon booking, please expect an email from Guide to the Philippines for the voucher, reminder, and next steps.
Hotel - Standard check-in time is 1500H and check out time is at 1100H. Requests for early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and fees. Refundable incidental deposit is required upon check-in. Guest/s are required to present a valid credit card guarantee or cash deposit. Bookings for one person will be arranged in single rooms, and bookings for two or more people will share a twin/double, or triple room(s). Children will be arranged in the same room with their parents. If additional room(s) is needed and for special requests, additional costs will incur. Child rate includes existing bed sharing arrangements with adults and complimentary tour/s (if any). Maximum of 2 children per room. Child rate is exclusive of daily breakfast and to be paid directly to the hotel.
Complimentary Tours and Activities (if any) - Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at the designated meeting place. For those who have availed complimentary hotel pick-up and drop-off, your Tour Guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour or activity. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. During the tour, please be reminded to dress appropriately depending on the nature of your tour.
Open Water Diver Course - This course will teach you everything you need to know to become a certified diver. During the course, you’ll make at least five shallow-water dives before graduating to four more extensive dives – all under the supervision of one of our certified instructors – in and around a number of popular Sangat dive locations. After the successful completion of the Open Water Diver course, you’ll will become a PADI certified diver. Once certified, you may enjoy un-supervised diving adventures with another certified dive partner. Prerequisites: 14 years old and above. | Course Duration: 3 – 4 Days | Maximum Depth: 18 meters
All guests are expected to do their share in ensuring their safety and security as well as that of their personal belongings. Guide to the Philippines and Tour Operators are not liable for the loss or damage to any personal belongings left unattended during the tour.
Peak Season Bookings - All bookings passing through December 24 and 31 are required to avail of the mandatory Christmas and New Year's Eve Dinner. Prepayment is required and can be paid in advance through Guide to the Philippines or direct to the hotel on the day of check-in.

They are nestled at the base of a wall of towering, semi-timbered limestone cliffs – affords a lushly-forested and uniquely peaceful environment often frequented by the gentle music of tropical morning song birds. Each hillside chalet is quite literally less than a 30-second walk to our grass-edged beachfront. Similar to our beachside styles, each hillside accommodation also includes an exterior bay-view terrace, sunbeds and a shaded hammock lounge directly beneath the structure.
