Have a fun-filled getaway in Cebu by joining this Sumilon Sandbar and Badian canyoneering day tour. On this tour, you will enjoy a complimentary lunch, a complimentary motorbike ride to the Kawasan Falls jump-off point, the services of a local guide, and the convenience of roundtrip transfers.
You will be picked up from your hotel within Cebu City, Mactan, Talaban, or Mandaue or direct from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport and have breakfast at your own expense. You will then make your way to Sumilon Island, the first stop of the day.
Sumilon Island is one of the jewels of Oslob. It is only a short boat journey from Oslob to a beautiful, little island with crystal-clear waters. The island's waters is the first underwater protected area in the Philippines, and it has been a marine sanctuary since 1974. The crystal-clear waters surrounding Sumilon Island is teeming with marine life.
The sandbar on Sumilon Island is the island's most well-known attraction. Depending on the season, time of day, and temperature, the sandbar's shape changes. There are several more areas to visit on the island, including a natural lagoon with mangroves and a clean lake.
Enjoy your complimentary lunch before the second half of your tour, canyoneering in Kawasan Falls. This famous attraction in Cebu features a series of three stunning waterfalls that cascade into pools of turquoise water.
The tallest of the three waterfalls is the first one you will encounter. It is not surprising that a waterfall that drops from a 40-meter ledge has become one of Cebu's most famous landmarks. The following two levels of Kawasan Falls will also be explored. Savor the short trip, then reward yourself with a dip in the cold waters of each waterfall.
You will now return to the entrance after swimming and taking photographs. Your transfer will transport you back to your hotel.

IMPORTANT: Please take note of the new provincial government policies for tourists visiting Kawasan Falls. A carrying capacity will be imposed every day, which means the Cebu provincial government will set a daily tourist limit, and the availability of the tour will depend on this. The tour guides are also under the supervision of the provincial government.

Tour Information: This private tour is available daily. Always listen and adhere to the safety instructions that your guide will orient you with. Do not do any activities not permitted or will put your safety at risk. Please bring your own fins, snorkel or diving mask, and island hopping essentials. Using of sunscreen is highly discouraged as you are entering the habitat of marine life and the chemicals might disrupt their environment. Respect the sea creatures you will be seeing and do not do anything that will harm them or put your safety at risk.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at the pick up location within Cebu City, Mactan, Talamban, Mandaue or Mactan Airport at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour. Tour Proper: Please be reminded also to dress appropriately. Be mindful of your personal belongings during the tour.
Children Friendly: Yes! However, for safety purposes only 7 years old and above may join this activity and must have an adult supervision at all times.
Pet Friendly: No! Please understand that this is for your fur baby's safety.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: No! Unless given permission by a licensed doctor senior citizens and PWDs are not encouraged to partake in this activity as this requires medium to extreme physical activities. Same goes for pregnant women and guests with other medical condition.
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
