Virtually explore some of the top attractions in the Philippines and learn about the country's history with this 4-day package. These virtual tours are perfect for those who want to visit the Philippines but can’t yet or those who want to have a taste of what the country has to offer to help them plan their vacation in the country. This package includes a virtual class on Basic Philippine History and virtual tours to 3 of the top destinations in the country: Intramuros, Palawan, and Cordillera. Each session will last 60 minutes.

The schedule of this package is flexible, so you can choose to have your class and tours 4 days in a row, every other day, or even once a week. After booking, you will be sent a link to a Zoom meeting, which will be the host of your private tours.

Before virtually touring the Philippines, you’ll have a class on the history of the country. This will allow you to have a better understanding of the country’s culture and heritage and see the Spanish and American influences that are still recognizable today.

After learning a bit about Philippine history, including the Spanish colonial period, you’ll virtually visit one of the most famous landmarks from that era that still exists today, the walled city of Intramuros. Located in the capital city Manila, Intramuros during the Spanish era was the center of religion and education in the country, as well as the seat of the government.

Your second tour will be of Palawan, one of the most popular islands in the country. It is said to be the last frontier of the Philippines and is home to beautiful beaches, majestic limestone cliffs, stunning lagoons, and biodiverse flora and fauna. Palawan is home to several beautiful destinations like Coron, El Nido, Puerto Princesa, and San Vicente, and this tour will help you decide which one to visit first.

The final tour will bring you to the Cordillera region, which is home to majestic rice terraces that provide Filipinos food as well as national pride. This session will take you on a virtual hike around the mountains and discuss Igorot culture.

During your virtual tours, you may also ask your instructor for recommendations for what to do, where to stay, and where to eat, as well as other travel-related questions.
