Description

Immerse yourself into Bohol Island's history, culture, and attractions with this online class and virtual tour package. This package is perfect for those who have plans to visit Bohol Island in the future as it comes with 4 60-minute sessions, including classes on the local language, the history and traditions of Bohol, and Bohol cuisine, as well as a virtual tour of some of Bohol Island's top tourist attractions.

Your schedule is flexible, and you can have your sessions once a day for 4 consecutive days, every other day, or once a week. Just remember to give enough notice if you need a class rescheduled. After you have finalized your schedule, a Zoom meeting link will be sent to you. This is where your sessions will be hosted.

Your first session will be a class on Cebuano Language, the local tongue used in Bohol. Also known as Bisaya, this language is one of the most spoken languages in the Philippines. In this class, you'll learn basic phrases and simple sentences that will allow you to introduce yourself and ask for help using Cebuano.

In your 2nd class, you'll learn about the history and traditions of Bohol. The island is where the blood compact of Datu Sikatuna and Spaniard Miguel Lopez de Legazpi took place. It will come as no surprise that the Spanish have influenced the traditions and culture of the island.

Your third class will be about the local cuisine of Bohol. Your instructor will tell you about some of the famous dishes and delicacies Bohol has to offer, including calamay, peanut kisses, and tilapia chips.

You will go on a virtual tour of some of Bohol's top tourist spots on your 4th and final session. Your guide will bring you to the Chocolate Hills, Panglao Island, and Loboc River, and you will see what makes the island one of the top tourist destinations in the region. After your virtual tour, feel free to ask your guide where to stay, what to do, and where to eat so you can plan your future trip better.

Learn about Bohol Island's tourist attractions and culture when you book this online package. Check the availability by choosing a date.
