Description

Explore the vibrant marine ecosystems of Cebu through this whale shark-watching and island-hopping tour. This experience is a must-try for those who love to snorkel, as you will also see the famed Sardine Run at Moalboal. The tour lasts about 14 to 16 hours and includes safety gear, snorkeling equipment, a set lunch, bottled water, the service of a guide, and free hotel pick-up and drop-off within Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan Island, or Cebu City.

Your guide will fetch you from your accommodation between 4 to 5 AM. From there, you will travel to the shores of Oslob to board a boat. You will then sail to an area where whale sharks are usually seen. If you're lucky, you'll get to watch these gentle marine creatures swim and feed in their natural habitat, which is an overall awe-inspiring sight. However, since they are migratory animals, a sighting is not always guaranteed. After your time at sea, you'll return to the shore and continue to your next stop: Moalboal town

At this seaside town, you'll hop in another boat for your island-hopping tour. Your first destination here will be Pescador Island, one of the best diving spots in Cebu. Its surrounding waters are home to extensive coral reefs populated by different marine animals like lionfish and stonefish. Following your time exploring the reefs here, you'll sail to another spot closer to Moalboal's shore to witness the world-famous sardine run. During this natural phenomenon, thousands of sardines swim so close together that they resemble a shimmering wall of silver underwater.

The best way to watch this take place is by snorkeling or diving. You will then head to your last stop for the day, Turtle Bay. As its name suggests, this area is home to sea turtles that you can often see swimming across the nearby reefs. During your time here, make sure to keep a safe distance from these gentle sea creatures to avoid accidentally harming or disturbing them.

Immerse in the pristine and thriving underwater ecosystems of Oslob and Moalboal by booking this day tour. Check the availability by choosing a date.

DISCLAIMER: Seeing whale sharks and turtles during this tour is NOT GUARANTEED. While your guide will try their best to assist you in spotting these creatures, their behavior may sometimes be unpredictable and there is a possibility that you may not encounter them during your tour.
