On the day before your scheduled Buscalan 2D1N tour, your guide will pick you up at any point in Manila at around 7 PM. From there, you'll start the long road trip toward the mountain village. Around 3 AM, you'll arrive at Banawe. Here, you'll visit the Banawe Arc and enjoy breakfast before continuing the journey to Buscalan. Afterward, you'll get back on the road.
Around 8 AM, you'll reach the municipality of Kalinga, where the village of Buscalan is located. From the jump-off point, you'll trek up to Buscalan. You will then check in a homestay upon reaching the village. After settling into your accommodations, you'll have a hearty lunch. Then, you'll have the rest of the day to stroll through the village. You may also use your free time to get a traditional Apo Whang-Od tattoo from one of the mambabatoks trained by Apo Whang-Od.
By 6 PM, you'll have dinner before calling it a day. The following morning, enjoy your breakfast while taking in the cool atmosphere in the village. Afterward, you can spend the rest of the morning lining up to meet the legendary Apo Whang-Od. You may also get a small Apo Whang-Od signature tattoo from her. Then around 10:30 AM, you'll check out and leave where your 2-day, 1-night Buscalan trip ends.
You will then have lunch on the way to the iconic Banaue Rice Terraces Viewdeck. After your time here, you'll make your way back to Manila.

Daily itinerary
Day 1 - Day 1: Pick-up + Travel to Buscalan
Your adventure will begin around 7 PM of the night before your scheduled check in at Buscalan to minimize your travel time. Your guide can fetch you from any point within Manila. After settling in the air-conditioned vehicle, you can rest up as you're driven to Buscalan.
Around 4 AM, you'll stop by Banawe for breakfast before continuing to Buscalan. After trekking to the village, you'll check in at your homestay and will have the rest of the day to yourself. Feel free to explore the village and get a tattoo from the local mambabatoks.
Day 2 - Day 2: Departure + Side trip to Banaue
The next morning, you'll be treated to a hearty breakfast by 6 AM. Afterward, you'll have more free time. You can also get a tattoo from the legendary Apo Whang-Od. Just keep in mind that she can only give you a tattoo of her signature (three dots) while the more intricate designs are handled by the younger artists. By 10:30 AM, you'll check out and make your way to the Banaue Rice Terraces before heading back to Manila.
