Review of Serene 5-Day Bohol Island Tour Package to Mithi Resort & Spa with Local Flights

We were picked up at the airport by a driver who took us to our resort solo. We were checked in the resort and taken to our beautiful quarters in a golf cart. The staff were well trained and very accommodating. We could tell they were to look after your every need The food was good, the salt water pool was great. The beach was well looked after but not much of a swimming area. The resort had its own island you could walk out to at low tide. We saw a wedding there. We had booked two tours. On the first, we were picked up in a beautiful car and great driver. We were solo again, and were driven to the many sites on the tour. We saw very old church and historical sites. We travelled most of the day seeing a mahogany forest, and then the protected area where the smallest monkeys lived. For lunch we went on a cruise boat on a river and ate a Philipino lunch while watching entertainment along the way. It was very unique.. after lunch we visited the enchanted gardens and saw constrictor snakes, which we handled, and interesting flying rodents, butterflies and different species of plants. After that we drove to the Chocolate hills. Our driver was amazing with his knowledge and friendly ways. We tipped him well on returning to our resort. The second tour was island hoping in an outrigger boat. We saw porpoises swimming alongside our boat, which was neat! We stopped at an island and were outfitted with mask and snorkelling gear. The fish were beautiful. After an hour we were served a delicious traditional meal before we left and were taken back. The driver picked us up again and took us back to the resort. It was a great tour. Al in all .our whole trip was amazing. We would do it all again!

Review of 12-Day Nature Tour Package to Laguna Province & Islands of Cebu, Bohol & Siquijor from Manila City

We had an amazing time in the Philippines. The tour thought of everything and the Guide to the Philippines team kept us updated throughout our trip of who our drivers were and any flights we had. The tour guides were amazing! They really looked after us and made our experience special. The canyoneering tour was a particular highlight for us and the guides couldn’t have been better! They were friendly, funny and went above and beyond to take pictures and make our experience. The only thing we would skip would be the butterfly zoo stop on Bohol island due to our concerns over animal welfare and treatment. This encounter was brief but one which we would suggest removing from the island tour. Overall, the team were fabulous and sent all the details of our transport before and throughout the trip. The accommodation was good. Breakfast was included which was a good addition before the activities. Each day was different and was great to see so much in just 12 days. It has definitely made us want to see more and come back. Thank you for a great trip!

They were on time for the pick-guide Lester and driver Mike. They always assisted us when going in and out of the car and on uneven pathways, on stairs, making sure we are safe. We are seniors, hence the need for assistance. Lester is knowledgeable about the city. He gave us lots of interesting informations. He consulted us on what our preference is - to see the grassroot food shops or the modern ones. I chose the grassroot ones. He provided the extra service by taking us to the Freedom Grand Stand where we will watch Kasadyahan. He took our pictures.
