Magic Island

Magic Island is a small tropical paradise located about 6 KM away from Boracay Island. Similar to Boracay, this destination boasts a white sand beach and is surrounded by pristine aquamarine waters that are filled with rich marine life. It has also become one of the usual stopovers for island-hopping tours around Boracay. 

While it has a beautiful shore, its main draw is cliff jumping from several platforms with varying heights. Travelers can choose to jump from diving boards that range from 3 meters up to 10 meters. However, the number of available platforms can change depending on the tide during your visit. It is also worth noting that travelers can jump as often as they like from the boards. 

Lifeguards are also on standby near the cliff-diving area but taking part in the activity is still at one's own risk. After getting an adrenaline rush from jumping off of the cliffs, visitors can relax in the several cottages and gazebos that line the island's shore. 

How to get there

Magic Island is situated in the Sibuyan Sea and is about 490 meters away from the Tabon port on Caticlan Island. On the other hand, it sits 1.28 KM from the Tambisaan Jetty Port on Boracay Island. 

To reach the island, visitors can rent a boat from any of the two ports. For a more convenient trip and faster entry, tourists can also join island-hopping tours that include a stopover on Magic Island. 

Tickets and entry

Tourists need to pay an entrance fee before being able to lounge on the island or go cliff diving. However, most island-hopping packages already include this fee in the tour to make it easier for the visitors. 

Best time to visit

Magic Island is open all year round, but the best time to visit is from November to April, when the weather is drier and cooler. However, tourists tend to flock here around December and throughout the summer season since it is a popular spot during the holidays.
