Bohol is a top island destination in the Visayas region. It boasts natural wonders such as the Chocolate Hills, the Philippine tarsier, and the white sands of Panglao Island. But one of its well-kept secrets is Balicasag Island, with waters where you can find a variety of marine life, from the tiniest of nudibranchs to adorable sea turtles.
After getting picked up by your guide at your Panglao accommodations in either Danao or Tawala, you will make your way to the boat area, where you will board one to go to Balicasag Island.
Balicasag Island is located off the southwestern shore of Panglao Island. Because of the numerous aquatic animal species found in its waters, it has been designated a marine sanctuary since 1985. It is also regarded as one of the best diving destinations in the Philippines. It has multiple dive spots that range from beginner to expert. It is where you will find a 400-meter marine sanctuary of healthy corals with plenty of pelagic visitors and characterized by vertical walls over deep waters with strong currents.
During this tour, you will choose three dive sites where you may see schools of jackfish, trevallies, barracudas, parrotfishes, and other types of reef fish. The area is also teeming with black corals, antipathes, and a wide array of macro creatures.

This is a private session but you are going to share the boat with other divers. This is for experienced divers with PADI certification only. Dive computer is not yet included but may be booked as an add-on.
Children Friendly: Yes. 12 years old and above with adult supervision are allowed in this activity.
Pet Friendly: No. Please understand that this is for your fur baby's safety.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: This may be a medium to extreme activity so we suggest to consult with your physician before proceeding with your booking.
The free shuttle pick-up time may vary depending on your hotel in Tawala or Danao Area, you may also meet-up with your dive master at 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time at Haka Dive Center. To change the pick-up or meet-up time and location please request in advance so our operator may check if the itinerary will fit as we may need to move the boat schedule and additional fee may apply.
The operator may cancel the tour in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval.
