Go on a virtual food tour with this interactive session that features the dishes of San Pablo, Laguna. This is perfect for those who want to try the food of San Pablo, Laguna without leaving their house, as it comes with a virtual tour guide and a food box that has suman (sticky rice cake), cooking ingredients, cooking attire, snacks, and souvenir items. The shipping fee for the food box is already included in this tour that will be held via Zoom.
This tour will include a quick discussion on San Pablo’s heritage dishes, as well as a demonstration on how to prepare some of these dishes, so you can follow along and create them with the ingredients from the food box.
Your guide will begin with an opening activity before introducing the first dish, ensaladang pako (fern salad) and grilled tilapia. You’ll learn about the origins and history of the dish, as well as how it is prepared according to San Pablo tradition.
The next dish is pancit kalabuko. It is one of the famous dishes from San Pablo City, and some believe that it was first created by a farmer who wanted to show his love for his wife by inventing a new dish. The noodles in this dish are made from mushrooms with squash (or kalabasa) and coconut (or buko), hence the name kalabuko.
The last dish featured on this tour is suman, a sweet delicacy made from rice. Although this dish is not unique to the city, San Pablo’s suman is known for its unique texture. You’ll learn how to make this delicacy and how to wrap it the traditional way.
Before the end of the tour, there will be a question and answer portion when you can ask everything you want to know about the dishes featured.

The rate is inclusive of the shipping fee to send the personalized travel box. The box can be shared with a ratio of 2 boxes:5 person. We can host a virtual tour for 5 pax with only 2 boxes especially if the guests are staying together once the package or communi-box has been shipped out, we will no longer accommodate the cancellation.
The operator may cancel the tour in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval.
