Clark used to be a U.S. military base, and now it's known for its fun tourist spots and having one of the major airports in the Philippines. After an easy check-in at your hotel, take a breather and get ready for the exciting experiences ahead. Enjoy the lively atmosphere, discover its historical significance, and gear up for a fantastic 12-day journey exploring some of the beautiful places for hiking in the Philippines.
Day 2 - Day 2: Pampanga Mt. Arayat Pinnacle South Peak Minor Day Hike
Today, you’ll go on your first free tour. Your hiking adventure starts as the designated driver picks you up from your hotel. You'll head to Mt. Arayat National Park in Pampanga for an early breakfast. Remember to pack your own food!
After registration and a safety briefing, you'll begin your climb to Pinnacle Peak on the mountain's southeast crater rim. The trail is steep but shaded by lush trees. At the top, enjoy a stunning view of the Pampanga River and fields. Next, you'll trek to South Peak, navigating rocky cliffs with the help of ropes. From South Peak, admire the landscape before descending back to the starting point. After a break, the driver will take you back to your hotel.
Day 3 - Day 3: Mt. Pinatubo Day Tour with Tour Guide
You’ll go on another free tour today. This time, you’ll go to Mt. Pinatubo for a day tour. To avoid the scorching sun, you'll meet your guide at the Capas jump-off point for the climb. After signing in, hop on a 4x4 jeep to reach the mountain.
On the way, you'll spot the Toblerone Hills, perfect for a quick photo stop. Then, you'll start climbing to the crater lake, which usually takes about an hour. At the lake entrance, enjoy the breathtaking view of the caldera and rocky surroundings. Take a break, snap some photos, and snack before heading back down. Next up is Victor Oteyza Community Art Space (VOCAS), another art spot in the same building as Oh My Gulay. Then, you'll visit Ili-likha Artists' Wateringhole, showcasing art and sculptures reflecting Igorot culture. Don't miss Pasakalye and Bookends, a bookshop with local artists' work.
Day 5 - Day 5: Mt. Pulag Hike

Pulag hike kicks off early in the morning when your guide picks you up from your hotel in Baguio City. After meeting up, you'll head to the starting point, register at the ranger's desk, and get a safety briefing. Since it's cooler there, bring sweaters and jackets.
The ascent to Mount Pulag's summit offers scenic views of hills and ridges. Be cautious on rugged paths with steep slopes, and follow your guide's instructions. If you're lucky, you might see a sea of clouds below, a famous sight at Mount Pulag. Pack up after and start your descent back to the starting point.
