Day 2 - Day 2: Baguio City Tour

Wake up to the cool Baguio weather while enjoying your complimentary breakfast, and then get ready for an 8-hour Baguio city tour. It starts with a trip to Baguio Botanical Garden where you’ll see native huts surrounded by lots of plants endemic in the area. Next, you’ll visit The Mansion House, the official summer residence of Presidents of the Philippines since the Commonwealth period, followed by a tour of Mines View Park, a quintessential Baguio attraction located along the city’s northeastern outskirts in Benguet province. It is a famous lookout point of the abandoned Itogon gold mines and Cordillera mountains. You will then proceed to Ibay’s Silver shop for some famous high-quality handcrafted silver items before stopping by the Baguio Museum to see cultural artifacts and dioramas of Ifugao traditional homes. Your immersion in Baguio culture continues at the Tam-Awan Village, an open-air museum and artist colony that features a reconstructed Cordillera village, after which you’ll go to the East Weaving room for hand-loomed items woven the traditional way. There are two more sites to see before calling it a day: an abandoned structure sitting on top of Dominican Hill called The Diplomat Hotel and the Kennon Road View Deck for a panoramic view of Baguio’s skyline.
