Learn how to dive and explore the underwater wonders in Moalboal, Cebu with this 5-day Open Water Diver Course with accommodations at Cebu Seaview Dive Resort. You can safely travel without worrying about transportation and accommodations. For your convenience, this trip already includes a round-trip transfer from Mactan to Moalboal and a 5-day stay in a deluxe room with breakfast at a Cebu dive resort.

Nestled off the southwestern coast of Cebu, the vibrant coastal town of Moalboal is teeming with bountiful marine biodiversity. It is home to sea turtles, millions of sardines, and colorful exotic fishes. Beneath its vast seascape lies rich marine sanctuaries and beautiful coral gardens.

You will undergo 4 open water dives under the supervision of your PADI-certified instructor. Please note that you can only visit a maximum of three dive sites per day. To sign up for the Cebu PADI course, you must be at least 10 years old and in good physical health. The PADI open water course includes three parts: knowledge development, confined water dives, and open water dives.

You will attend a short orientation for the briefing session and equipment preparation. During the confined water dives, you will learn and practice scuba skills in a pool. You will do one or more mini dives, which will take you through the same steps during open water dives.

Day 1

Day 1 - Day 1: Check-in + Orientation

Upon arrival, you will check-in at Cebu Seaview Dive Resort, where you will be staying for 5 days and 4 nights. You will attend a short orientation for the course briefing session. Before proceeding to your actual dives, you will watch videos and attend lectures. Enjoy your delightful staycation at Cebu Seaview Dive Resort, a 3-star beachfront resort featuring bungalow-type rooms with a balcony overlooking the Panagsama Beach and Tañon Strait. It has an expansive infinity pool and dive shop on-site. You can dine on mouthwatering dishes at the seaside restaurant or unwind at the poolside bar by the beach.

Day 2

Day 2 - Day 2: Confined Dive & Open Water Dive

On day 2, you can take an early morning stroll to get yourself energized. Enjoy a hearty breakfast meal before taking your first open water dives. After the knowledge development part of the course, you will apply your scuba diving skills in a confined area or water with pool-like conditions. By this time, you will learn how to use basic hand signals and how to breathe underwater. To evaluate your knowledge, you will demonstrate your skills on your first and second open water dives. As you go deeper, prepare yourself to encounter real-time and physiological challenges underwater.

Please note that the diving itinerary for this day and the rest of the days in this package is only suggested, and the actual itinerary may vary depending on the weather conditions during the actual day.

Day 3

Day 3 - Day 3: Confined Dive & Open Water Dive

On your third day, you will take an early breakfast to prepare for your next set of dives. You will proceed to your confined dive session to warm yourself up before taking your open water dive. At this point, you will apply what you’ve learned in the previous lectures, videos, and confined dive sessions. In the afternoon, you will be taking your 3rd and 4th open water dives. To ensure your safety, make sure that your scuba gear, fins, weights, and tank are in good condition. By this time, you will explore more profound depths beyond 60 feet.

Day 4 - Day 4: Free Time

On day 4, you can catch the sunrise while taking an early morning stroll. Then, go for some laps at the infinity pool. Afterward, you can enjoy your complimentary breakfast. Make the most of your free day and explore some of the nearby scenic sights and breathtaking attractions in Moalboal. You can go island-hopping (add-on) to Pescador Island or go canyoneering (add-on) at Kawasan Falls.

Day 5

Day 5 - Day 5: Checkout + Departure

Spend the last day of your vacation lounging on the white sand and taking memorable photos by the beach. You can explore the nearby attractions on your own. Then, you can have your lunch at the seaside restaurant. You can also buy some local handicrafts as souvenirs to bring back home before checking out of the resort..

Booking Information - Upon booking, please expect an email from Guide to the Philippines for the voucher, reminder, and next steps.

Dive Reminder - Please remember that divers are not allowed to fly for minimum 18 hours from their last dive. It is recommended to have 3 days for the course and 1 day to rest before flying back. Dive schedules are subject to change depending on the weather.

Hotel - Standard check-in time is 1400H and check out time is at 1200H. Requests for early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and fees. Refundable incidental deposit is required upon check-in. Guest/s are required to present a valid credit card guarantee or cash deposit. Bookings for one person will be arranged in single rooms, and bookings for two or more people will share a twin/double, or triple room(s). Children will be arranged in the same room with their parents. If additional room(s) is needed and for special requests, additional costs will incur. Child rate includes existing bed sharing arrangements with adults and complimentary tour/s (if any). Maximum of 2 children per room. Child rate is exclusive of daily breakfast and to be paid directly to the hotel.

Complimentary Tours and Activities (if any) - Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at the designated meeting place. For those who have availed complimentary hotel pick-up and drop-off, your Tour Guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour or activity. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. During the tour, please be reminded to dress appropriately depending on the nature of your tour. Be mindful of your personal belongings.

Peak Season Bookings - All bookings passing through December 24 and 31 are required to avail of the mandatory Christmas and New Year's Eve Dinner. Prepayment is required and can be paid in advance through Guide to the Philippines or direct to the hotel on the day of check-in.
