In this diving course, you will experience 4 open water dives and 5 adventure dives under the guidance of a PADI-certified instructor. Take note that you can only visit a maximum of three dive sites per day. You will get a course manual for PADI open water and advanced open water diving, a training logbook for student divers, course registration, and full scuba equipment rental.
Moalboal is a laid-back town in Cebu that features stunning dive sites and beautiful coral gardens. It is a world-class diving destination for local and international travelers who like to witness its all-year-long sardine run. You will also get a chance to swim with sea turtles and hundreds of colorful exotic fishes.
This Moalboal diving package is a combination of basic and advanced Cebu PADI open water courses. To sign up, you must be at least 10 years old and in good physical health. After completing the basic and advanced open water dive courses, you will receive an e-certificate from PADI.
At the start of the course, you will attend an orientation to know what to do and expect during your confined sessions and open water dives. You will also watch videos and attend lectures about different diving techniques. Make sure to gear up ahead of time and prepare your equipment before plunging into the waters.

Daily itinerary
Day 1 - Day 1: Check-in + Orientation + Confine Dive & Open Water Dive
Upon arrival, you will check-in at Cebu Seaview Dive Resort where you will be staying in a deluxe room for 7 days and 6 nights. You will attend lectures and watch course videos at the orientation. Enjoy your stay at Cebu Seaview Dive Resort, a 3-star oceanfront resort with a world-class dive center on-site. It is only 550 meters away from Panagsama Beach, where you can witness the famous sardine run. Before your actual dives, you will take mini dives in a confined area. Then, you will go through the same steps in your 1st and 2nd open water dives.
Day 2 - Day 2: Confined Dive & Open Water Dive
On your second day, you will take another confined dive session in the swimming pool. Your PADI-certified instructor will help you become familiar with more advanced scuba diving techniques. The confined dive will also be your warm-up session before proceeding to your 3rd and 4th open water dives. By this time, you should apply and demonstrate the knowledge and skills that you have learned from the previous lectures and videos. You can discover hidden underwater sanctuaries, swim with hundreds of marine species, and dive further into more profound depths. Then, you will head back to the resort to have dinner.
Please note that the diving schedule for today and the upcoming days is just a suggestion. The actual itinerary might change based on the weather conditions at the time
Day 3 - Day 3: Adventure Dive
On day 3, you will take your 1st and 2nd adventure dives. At this point, you will get a better overview of different types of adventure dives, including peak performance buoyancy, wreck diving, and drift diving. Your PADI-certified instructor will also help you discover your adventure dive specialty. If you would like to try underwater photography, you will get a chance to take plenty of photos during your adventure dives. You will also learn how to plan dives and deal with the physiological challenges at raised ambient pressure.
Day 4 - Day 4: Adventure Dive
On your fourth day, you will proceed to your 3rd and 4th adventure dives. By this time, you should have already improved your compass navigation skills and buoyancy. You have to gear up ahead of time and prepare your scuba diving equipment before plunging into the waters. Listen carefully and wait for your instructor’s go-ahead signal. You will visit dive sites and vast marine sanctuaries with more challenging dive trails, which will improve your air consumption rates and make you feel more comfortable underwater. As you go into deeper depths, you will gain a better understanding of the marine ecosystem.
Day 5 - Day 5: Adventure Dive
On day 5, you will take your 5th and final adventure dive. By this time, you should have already improved your navigation skills and buoyancy. Just like your previous adventure dives, you will hover upside down, swim through hoops, and drift away depending on the ocean current. As you go deeper into the open sea, you will see odd-looking marine species, even those creatures that rarely pop out of the water. One of the highlights of your adventure dives is the breathtaking sardine run experience in Moalboal. After your adventure dives, you’ll head back to the resort to have dinner.
Day 6 - Day 6: Free Time
On the 6th day of your vacation, you will wake up early to a hearty breakfast meal. Afterward, you can relax and indulge in the resort’s modern amenities. You can plunge into the infinity pool or grab some drinks at the poolside bar. Make the most of your vacation and visit the nearby attractions. The resort also offers motorbike rentals for those who would like to navigate the surrounding area. Go island-hopping (add-on) to Pescador Island and swim with turtles. You can also go canyoneering (add-on) at Kawasan Falls in Badian town, which is only 20 kilometers away from Panagsama Beach.
Day 7 - Day 7: Checkout + Departure
Conclude your last day by taking an early morning stroll along the beach. Then, you will head back to your room to take your complimentary breakfast. Before checking out of the resort, you can still go strolling and look for souvenirs that you can bring to your friends back home.

Booking Information - Upon booking, please expect an email from Guide to the Philippines for the voucher, reminder, and next steps.
Dive Reminder - Please remember that divers are not allowed to fly for minimum 18 hours from their last dive. It is recommended to have 5 days for the course and 1 day to rest before flying back. Dive schedules are subject to change depending on the weather.
Hotel - Standard check-in time is 1400H and check out time is at 1200H. Requests for early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and fees. Refundable incidental deposit is required upon check-in. Guest/s are required to present a valid credit card guarantee or cash deposit. Bookings for one person will be arranged in single rooms, and bookings for two or more people will share a twin/double, or triple room(s). Children will be arranged in the same room with their parents. If additional room(s) is needed and for special requests, additional costs will incur. Child rate includes existing bed sharing arrangements with adults and complimentary tour/s (if any). Maximum of 2 children per room. Child rate is exclusive of daily breakfast and to be paid directly to the hotel.
Complimentary Tours and Activities (if any) - Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at the designated meeting place. For those who have availed complimentary hotel pick-up and drop-off, your Tour Guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour or activity. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. During the tour, please be reminded to dress appropriately depending on the nature of your tour. Be mindful of your personal belongings.
Peak Season Bookings - All bookings passing through December 24 and 31 are required to avail of the mandatory Christmas and New Year's Eve Dinner. Prepayment is required and can be paid in advance through Guide to the Philippines or direct to the hotel on the day of check-in.
