Your 7-day itinerary in the Philippines will start with your arrival in Manila. You’ll be taken to your hotel afterward, and after checking in, you can relax or explore the city on your own. You can also book add-on Manila walking tours. You have the option to explore either the walled city of Intramuros or Binondo.
On day 2, you’ll go on a Taal Lake and Volcano tour. This one-hour boat tour will let you see Taal Lake and Volcano up close as you are assisted by a Department of Tourism-accredited guide. Explore local fish ponds and witness the aftermath of the 2020 eruption. Extend to a two-hour tour for more sights.
Day 3 is the day of your Mt. Pinatubo tour. You’ll embark on a day hike to Mt. Pinatubo and see its beautiful crater lake. With well-marked trails and a guide, beginners can enjoy the climb. Upon your arrival in Manila, you'll be checked in into a comfort-level hotel included in your Philippines vacation package, offering a relaxing start to your journey. To make your stay even more memorable, you have the option to book add-on tours.
Explore the city's rich history with a half-day Intramuros walking tour, where you'll visit iconic landmarks like Fort Santiago and Manila Cathedral, learning about their significance along the way. Alternatively, satisfy your taste buds on a Binondo walking food tour, sampling local delicacies such as Shanghai Fried Siopao and Dong Bei Dumplings, providing a unique culinary adventure through the bustling streets of Manila's Chinatown.
Day 2 - Day 2: Taal Lake Boat Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have your first tour of the 7-day experience. Today, you’ll join a private boat tour offering close-up views of Taal Lake and Volcano, which includes the assistance of a DOT-accredited guide, a life vest, and all fees included. The one-hour tour showcases Taal Lake's fish ponds, remnants of the 2020 eruption, and diverse birdlife. Make sure to take photos and enjoy the scenery with your group.
Encounter floating lava rocks and upgrade to a two-hour tour for extended exploration. Return to shore afterward.
Day 3 - Day 3: Mt. Pinatubo Day Tour with Tour Guide
Today, after breakfast, you’ll go on a day tour of Mt. Pinatubo. It’s an active stratovolcano located in the Philippines. If you decide to book this tour, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and proceed to visit the Holy Rosary Seminary in Naga, the oldest Christian higher education institute for clergy in the Philippines. It is also a National Historical Landmark. Then, you’ll see the home of Our Lady of Penafrancia at the Peñafrancia Basilica.
Next, you’ll explore Naga Metropolitan Cathedral with its Spanish-Romanesque architecture and CamSur Watersports Complex for wakeboarding. Also, visit Sonrisa Farm, BidiBidi Cafe showcasing Bicolana arts, and HGQ Handicrafts for souvenirs. You also have the option to stop at Kawa-Kawa Hill for panoramic views and Pancit Bato Factory to see how local noodles are made.
Day 6 - Day 6: Albay Bicol Mayon ATV Exclusive Trail, Church & Farm Village Tour
Today, you’ll join your last free tour of this Philippine travel package. Get ready for an early pick-up from your hotel. Embark on a Mayon ATV tour at Mayon Skydrive Adventure, which lasts about 5 hours. Explore off-road trails, rivers, and swamps, and reach the closest viewpoint to Mayon Volcano.
You’ll also visit Cagsawa Ruins, remnants of a church destroyed in 1814. Then, enjoy lunch at 1st Colonial Grill at your own expense and try their famous chili ice cream. Afterward, visit Daraga Church and Albay Farmers Bounty Village to learn about local farming techniques and then shop for souvenirs.
Day 7 - Day 7: Checkout + Departure
On your last day in Albay, enjoy the hotel facilities before checking out. Await the designated driver who will transfer you to the airport for your Philippine Airlines flight back to Manila.
