Go on an 8-day vacation in the Philippines and see the country's islands, countryside, and falls with this tour package. Visit the highlights of Manila, Cebu, and Baguio, and explore the underwater paradise of Apo Island in Dumaguete and the other beautiful islands in Puerto Princesa. Your vacation will start with a historical tour in Intramuros. This 0.67-square-kilometer walled area in Manila consists of a centuries-old district considered the whole city of Manila during Spanish colonization. Camp John Hay, a top tourist destination in Baguio, also goes back to the olden days when World War II occurred. At present, it has gardens, hotels, and other facilities for recreation.

Another interesting location in Baguio is Wright Park, famed for its long pond and pine trees. You will also visit the Strawberry Farm in Benguet. Here you will get to pick some fresh strawberries and take home a basket or two for a charge.

This tour will also show you some of the top natural gems in the Philippines, including Apo Island in Dumaguete. You can snorkel around the coral gardens and appreciate the island's abundant marine life. From Dumaguete, your guide will take you to Kawasan Falls in Cebu. It features three cascades and cool natural springs.

Your last two excursions will take place in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. You will go on an island-hopping trip around Honda Bay, and one of your stops will be Cowrie Island, which offers several beach activities and water sports. Your last tour will include the world-renowned Puerto Princesa Underground River.

Day 1
Intramuros in Manila

Day 1 - Day 1: Intramuros Tour

Your tour package starts with your arrival in the Philippines. You will be picked up at Ninoy Aquino International Airport and taken to your accommodation in Manila or along Roxas Boulevard. After settling in, your van will drive you to a walled area named Intramuros. Intramuros, which served as a seat of government of the Philippines' governor-general during Spanish colonization, is now a National Historical Landmark. Located behind its walls are multiple ancient structures, and one of these is Fort Santiago. This defensive fortress was built to prevent pirate invasions. Next, you will drop by Plaza Roma, which is regarded as the center of Intramuros. Take notice of the buildings surrounding this public square before you head to Bahay Tsinoy. Inside this museum are 12 sections that will tell you the story of the ethnic Chinese in Philippine history. Your following stop is also a museum. At Casa Manila, you will find out the lifestyle locals have during the Spanish colonial era. Your guide will next show you San Diego Gardens and Baluarte De San Diego. Then, you will visit San Agustin Church and Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your last stop is the country's first-ever cathedral, Manila Cathedral.

Day 2 - Day 2: Baguio Tour

From your Manila hotel, you will make your way to Baguio, which features pine trees, crisp cold breezes, and verdant knolls. Temperatures here are eight degrees cooler on average than those in lowlands, so make sure to gear up for this tour. Your first attraction is the Philippine Military Academy. This institution has been dedicated to building the future officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines since 1898. Your following stop is The Mansion, which features a gate that resembles the Buckingham Palace gates in London. From there, you'll head to Camp John Hay. Here you can browse the products at the shopping center, play rounds of golf, or go trekking. Your guide will then bring you to three parks, starting with Mines View Park. This attraction has an observation deck where you can see the Amburayan Valley and the Cordillera Mountains from a distance. Next is Wright Park, which is recognized for its pine trees and long pond. The last park you'll visit is Centennial Park, where you can wear Igorot attire and take pictures with the Igorot locals. Before heading to your Baguio hotel, you will drop by Good Shepherd Convent to purchase some local goodies.

Day 3 - Day 3: Benguet Tour

On the third day, you will visit more attractions in the Province of Benguet. Your tour will begin in the town of La Trinidad. This is where the famous Strawberry Farm is located. During your visit to the farm, you will have an enjoyable strawberry picking. You can also buy strawberry products from nearby stores. The rest of your tour will take place in the town of Atok. First, you will go to Atok Sakura Flowers, also called Benguet-Kochi Sisterhood Park. Around 40 Sakura trees stand on the site, and they are projected to be sprouting now. You will then proceed to Northern Blossom, another site filled with bright flowers. This two-hectare farm, featuring common and rare blooms, has been compared to the Netherlands' Keukenhof. After that, your guide will drive you to a higher location – the 2nd Highest Point. It soars at 2,255 meters above sea level, becoming the second-highest altitude in the Philippines after the Kiangan-Tinoc-Buguias Road in Tinoc, Ifugao. The last attraction you will visit is the Spanish Trail. While it was constructed during the Spanish period, the trail remains visible, and locals frequently make use of it. You will then return to your hotel in Manila.

Day 4 - Day 4: Apo Island Tour

On the fourth day, you will leave Manila and travel to Dumaguete. Your guide will pick you up at Dumaguete Airport and drive you to Malatapay Boat Terminal. Here, you will hop on a pump boat and sail to Apo Island. Apo Island is one of the top island destinations in the Philippines, attracting locals and international visitors with its paradise-like beauty. Housing a sea reserve, the island has been rated as one of the best dive sites in the world. Once you reach your destination, you will head to Apo Island's turtle habitat. Dive into the water and swim with the sea turtles as long as you like. You can also snorkel around the vast reef garden at the site and spot some vibrant fishes. In case you need a break, the island's white sandy beach is a good place for relaxation. Another activity you can do here is trekking. You can either go to Apo Island Lighthouse or the Apo View Deck. The place also offers three trails that will reward you with a sweeping view of the Negros Island. After the tour, you will return to the mainland and spend the night at your Dumaguete hotel.

After checking out of your accommodation in Dumaguete, you will ride a ferry bound for Cebu. Your guide will be at the port waiting for you. The first part of your tour will take place in the town of Badian. Here, you will visit Kawasan Falls, which comprises three waterfalls, with the first one being the most crowded. You have the option to go canyoneering for a unique and challenging adventure. Your next destination is the coastal town of Moalboal. This location is abundant in stunning corals and white-sand beaches. Admire the place's natural beauty before getting on a boat that will take you across the sea to Pescador Island. This tiny, rocky island is home to breathtaking corals and vibrant fishes, making it perfect for snorkeling. You will proceed to Turtle Point, where you can get up close with sea turtles. After swimming with the remarkable sea creature, you will head back to mainland Cebu. Your van will transport you to Panagsama Beach. Located off the shore is the jaw-dropping Sardine Run, which features over a million sardines swimming in one big group. After the tour, you will make your way to your hotel in Argao.

Day 6 - Day 6: Puerto Princesa Honda Bay Island Hopping Tour

On Day 6, you are scheduled to take a flight to Palawan. You will check out of your Argao hotel and head to Mactan Airport. It will be a short trip to Puerto Princesa International Airport. Upon arriving, you'll head to Honda Bay, situated on the eastern coast of the province. A boat will be waiting for you here to take you to several islands in the bay. Your first stop is Starfish Island, which is only a 15-minute boat ride from Pambato Reef. This beautiful sandbar got its name from a large number of starfish in the area. It also houses several varieties of fish, making it one of the best snorkeling sites in the province. Next, you'll visit Cowrie Island, the largest and most popular island in Honda Bay. You can spend your time here sunbathing on the fine white sand or playing beach volleyball. Water sports like jet-skiing, snorkeling, and banana boat riding are also available here. Your island-hopping trip will end with a visit to Luli Island. It features powdery cream-colored sand and is an excellent place for swimming. You will then return to the mainland and ride a van to your Sabang hotel.

Day 7 - Day 7: Puerto Princesa Underground River and City Tour

In the morning, your guide will pick you up at your Sabang accommodation and bring you to Sabang Wharf, where you'll hop on a pump boat. You will explore the world-renowned Puerto Princesa Underground River aboard the boat. During the cruise, you will find some fascinating stalactites and stalagmites formations on the cave walls. Once you return to Sabang Wharf, your van will drive you to Puerto Princesa for a city tour. Your first stop is Baker's Hill, a bakery/theme park set on top of a hill. Here, you can purchase souvenirs from stores and take photos as a remembrance. From there, you will proceed to the historic Plaza Cuartel. Formerly a military base, the site had since been converted into a city park. You will then proceed to the Crocodile Farm, where you will learn what endangered species are inhabiting Palawan, including two various crocodile species. Next on your itinerary is Mitra's Ranch. Enjoy the magnificent view of Puerto Princesa City or challenge yourself on many outdoor activities. Your last stop will be the well-paved Puerto Princesa Baywalk. While here, you can purchase street foods from local vendors. Your guide will bring you back to your Sabang hotel afterward.

Day 8 marks the conclusion of your tour package, so it's time to return to Manila. Your van will pick you up at your Sabang hotel and drive you to Puerto Princesa International Airport. The flight to Ninoy Aquino International Airport usually has a duration of fewer than two hours.

If off-season or on days when the northeast monsoon is strong, dolphin watching may not be possible. During Habagat/ Southwest monsoon Season (June-October), boat ride to Apo Island may be rough.
