On this hassle-free trip, you will get to visit major historical places in Manila, set foot on paradise-like islands in Puerto Princesa, and discover more natural wonders in Bohol and Cebu. This tour package consists of daily breakfast, accommodation, entrance fees, transportations, and the service of guides.
The walled city of Intramuros in Manila will be the very first destination of your tour. Enclosed in its walls is a historic district that has campuses, museums, churches, and more. Some of the structures that will be shown to you date back to the 16th century, making you feel like you’re in an old world.
From Manila, you’ll travel to the Province of Bohol. Here you will experience the sought-after Loboc River Cruise. You get to indulge in a buffet lunch and watch locals perform as you traverse the river. Your guide will also take you to the incredible Chocolate Hills, whose green grass turns brown during the dry season.
Pamilacan Island is another top natural attraction you’ll visit in Bohol. It is known for dolphin and whale shark sightings off the coast. It is also known for its snorkeling and diving sites filled with various aquatic animals and colorful corals.
Your tour will also take you to some of Cebu’s main highlights, including Kawasan Falls. Standing at 40 meters, this multi-layered waterfall system gives off a refreshing atmosphere and features cold and clear cascades. After Cebu, you will fly to Puerto Princesa, Palawan, and explore the beautiful islands in Honda Bay. You will also get the chance to go inside the stunning Underground River.
Spend eight days in the Philippines exploring the best attractions of Manila, Bohol, Cebu, and Puerto Princesa. Check availability by choosing a date.
You will take a flight to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Here, you will meet your guide, who will take you to your hotel in Manila or along Roxas Boulevard. After checking in, you will begin your tour in the walled city of Intramuros.
Intramuros dates back to the 16th century when the Spanish conquered Manila. The city was rebuilt, alongside the establishment of the walls, after Chinese pirates attacked. One of the historical structures here is Fort Santiago, a defensive fortress whose dungeons are open for the public to visit.
Just a short walk from the fort is Plaza Roma. This public square is where multiple events, including bullfighting, were held during the Spanish colonial days. You will next drop by the Bahay Tsinoy, a museum where you will learn about the important role of the ethnic Chinese in Philippine history.
The following stop is another museum, called Casa Manila. Inside the building, you will find Spanish colonial furniture and art. Your guide will then lead you to San Diego Gardens, which lies next to Baluarte De San Diego. Your Intramuros tour concludes with a visit to two historical and religious structures: San Agustin Church and Museum and Manila Cathedral.
On the second day, you will check out of your Manila hotel and ride a van that will take you to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. You will travel from there to Panglao International Airport via plane. On this day, your guide will drive you around the stunning countryside of Bohol.
Your first stop will be the Corella Tarsier Sanctuary. This forest patch provides a home to tarsiers. While you can take photos of them, make sure that the camera flash is off as these small primates have sensitive eyes.
Next, you’ll traverse the Loboc River, one of the Philippines’ cleanest and safest rivers, aboard a floating restaurant. This Loboc River Cruise offers a buffet lunch of Pinoy dishes and presentations of Filipino songs and dances. Once you return to the shore, your guide will bring you to Baclayon Church. Jesuit priests constructed this church back in 1595; thus, it is considered the second oldest stone church in the country.
You will also visit the Butterfly Conservatory to marvel at colorful butterflies of varied species. Then, you’ll drop by the man-made Bilar Forest before heading to the world-renowned Chocolate Hills. You will be on your way to your Dumaguete hotel afterward.
On Day 3, you will be sailing off the coast of mainland Bohol to see the magnificent Pamilacan Island. Your van will pick you up at your Dumaguete accommodation and take you to the town of Baclayon, where you’ll switch from your van to a boat. You will then travel to the island, which houses whale sharks and dolphins you might spot along the way.
While roughly 2,000 people occupy Pamilacan Island, the place still has unspoiled areas boasting natural beauty. It has a stretch of white-sand beach where you are free to sunbathe and play. Surrounding the island are clear blue waters that are safe to swim in.
Snorkeling is also possible here as various marine animals swim around the island, including tropical fishes and sea turtles. Bucket sponges and soft and hard corals lie underwater, as well. For some adrenaline rush, you can proceed to the diving spots.
On the northeast side of Pamilacan Island is a 200-year-old fort that you can also visit. The Spaniards used this fort as a watch station for invaders, such as pirates. By the end of the day, you’ll return to the mainland and spend the night at your Panglao hotel.
On the fourth day of this vacation package, you will visit one of the hidden jewels of Bohol – the Cambuhat Village. It has bountiful natural resources, becoming the pride of the town of Buenavista. Your guide will drive you to Daet Bridge, the jump-off point to the tranquil location.
Onboard a paddleboat, you will traverse the Cambuhat River that’s filled with nipa palms and mangroves. You will head directly to the village’s Cambuhat Oyster Farm. It is one of the primary livelihood sources of the residents. During the cruise, your guide will share knowledge and stories about oyster farming.
Your guide will then take you to the river banks where a small visitor’s center is located. At the center, you’ll get to have a hearty lunch of seafood, including oysters. Village women will present a traditional dance called the Buri dance while you indulge in your meal.
After that, you will further tour around Cambuhat Village and learn about local handicrafts like broom making, weaving of raffia using native looms, the making of baskets, and more. In the late afternoon, your guide will drive you back to your accommodation on Panglao Island after your trip to Cambuhat Village.
After checking out of your Panglao hotel, you will travel to a port where you will ride a ferry to the Province of Cebu. You will proceed to the town of Badian upon your arrival. The place is known for its 40-meter high fall called Kawasan Falls. While the trail to the attraction is 1.5km long, your effort will be worth it once you get to see its beauty and experience its cold natural spring waters.
After a fun-filled time at the falls, you will make your way to Moalboal via van. This town is noted for its healthy coral ecosystem and many white beaches. Catch sight of this stunning place before you board a boat to Pescador Island. This tiny, rocky island is excellent for snorkeling as it has many reef fish species, as well as snappers, lionfish, groupers, nudibranchs, and more.
Your next destination is Turtle Island, which is appropriately named as numerous turtles can be spotted around the place. While here, you can swim with this sea creature. To end your tour, you will witness the incredible Sardine Run off the coast of Panagsama Beach. Your guide will then transfer you to your Mandaue hotel afterward.
It’s time to visit another top tourist destination in Luzon – the Province of Palawan. After checking out of your accommodation in Mandaue City, you will have a plane trip from Mactan Airport to Puerto Princesa International Airport. Once you arrive, you will ride a van to the province’s eastern coast, where Honda Bay is situated. This location serves as the starting point to your island-hopping tour.
The first destination on your itinerary is Starfish Island. You will have to go on a 15-minute boat ride from Pambato Reef to get here. You are most likely to find a plethora of starfishes on the island. Swim in its crystal-clear waters or go snorkeling to see the island’s rich marine life.
Your boat will take you to Cowrie Island next. As the biggest island in Honda Bay, it offers an array of activities for visitors to enjoy. You can try jet-skiing or banana boat riding, or perhaps have a round of volleyball on the beach.
Luli Island will be the final stop of your tour. The entire place gets submerged in water during high tide. After your island experience, you’ll head to your hotel in Sabang.
On Day 7, you will further explore Puerto Princesa. Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation and bring you to Sabang Wharf. You will climb on a boat and be on your way to the world-famous Puerto Princesa Underground River. Take a look at the amazing rock formations while inside the cave.
Once you get back to land, you will begin your city tour in Puerto Princesa. Your guide will drive you up a hill toward Baker’s Hill, a bakery/theme park. Treat yourself to yummy local goodies that you can purchase from the bakeries and pizza parlors on the site.
Your second stop is the Plaza Cuartel, a historical place in the city. Before it turned into a park, the site was a military base during World War II. Next is the Crocodile Farm, a research center where Palawan’s endangered species are conserved and studied.
Afterward, you will visit Mitra’s Ranch. Besides the majestic view of the city, the place also offers several outdoor activities. To cap off your tour, you will drop by the Puerto Princesa Baywalk, where you can go for a stroll or simply sit down and enjoy the sea view.
Day 8 is the end of your tour package. You will head to Puerto Princesa International Airport after you check out of your hotel in Sabang. You will then get on a plane that will take you back to Manila City. Ninoy Aquino International Airport will be your direct destination.
