Go on an exciting 8-day itinerary in the Philippines, which will take you to the capital city, Manila, and the province of Cebu in the Visayas region, where you’ll get to explore urban spots and natural attractions. This Philippine vacation package, which includes roundtrip airfare, seven nights of accommodations, breakfast, transportation, entrance fees, environmental fees, port fees, and applicable taxes, and the service of guides during tours, is a must-book for travelers who want to explore the stunning natural wonders of the country.

On day 1 of your Philippine holiday package, your driver will pick you up from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. From there, you will be brought to your comfort-level hotel in Manila. After checking in, you have the option to just relax in your room or go on an add-on walking tour of the walled city of Intramuros. You can choose to have a morning or night tour.

The next day, you will get on a flight to Cebu via Philippine Airlines. After landing at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, you’ll make your way to Moalboal, a coastal town known for its sardine run, beginning your South Cebu itinerary. When you arrive at your comfort-level accommodations, you will check in and have the rest of your day free. 

On days 3 and 4 of your Philippine tour package, you will go on tours to explore the natural attractions of Cebu. First, you’ll head to Kawasan Falls and try a canyoneering activity, and then the next day, you’ll see the aquatic wonders of Moalboal when you go on an island-hopping tour. 

After a day’s rest, you’ll head to Oslob for whale shark watching on day 6. During this part of the Philippine travel package, you will also get to visit the picturesque Sumilon Sandbar and the beautiful Tumalog Falls. (Tumalog Falls is temporarily closed and will be temporarily replaced by a monkey-viewing activity in Oslob.) On your last full day in Cebu, you’ll head to the city and enjoy an optional add-on half-day tour of its top attractions. 

You’ll check out and head back to Manila the next day via a Philippine Airlines flight and end your vacation package to the Philippines.

Day 1
Manila Baywalk

Day 1 - Day 1: Arrival in Manila + Check-in

Your designated driver will pick you up at Ninoy Aquino International Airport and transport you to your comfort-level accommodations in Manila, marking the start of your multi-day tour. After settling in, you can begin your day with an add-on half-day walking tour of the famous walled district of Intramuros. On this tour, you will visit historical spots like Fort Santiago, Plaza Moriones, Memorare-Manila 1945 Monument, and Casa Manila. If you don’t mind a darker tour, you can go on the night walking tour, which also stops at Fort Santiago, Memorare-Manila 1945 Monument, and Casa Manila, but will go into detail about the atrocities done during the war.

Beach in Moalboal, Cebu

Day 2 - Day 2: Arrival in Moalboal + Check-in

You will be picked up from your hotel in Manila and brought back to the Manila Airport so you can catch your flight to Cebu and continue your tour of the Philippines. You’ll land at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, and from there, you’ll make your way to Moalboal, a small coastal town in the southwestern region of Cebu. After checking in at your standard-level accommodations, you are free to do some exploring on your own. You can head to White Beach and enjoy a lazy day out or try the local delicacies on offer at the many restaurants nearby.

Day 3 - Day 3: Cebu Kawasan Falls Canyoneering Tour with Lunch & Transfers

Sardine Ball in Moalboal, Cebu

Day 4 - Day 4: Cebu Moalboal Island Hopping Tour with Transfers

You will explore the waters of Cebu on day 4. Wait for your driver to pick you up from Moalboal. Once you are all settled in the vehicle, you will head to your boat, which will take you to your first stop, Pescador Island. Here, you can snorkel and see the vibrant marine life, which includes colorful corals, a variety of fish, and of course, the majestic sardine run, where thousands upon thousands of sardines swim underwater in unison, forming a massive sardine wall.

You will also visit Turtle Bay, where you can chance upon adorable sea turtles in their natural habitat. After your island-hopping experience, you will be brought back to your hotel so you can rest.

Cebu Oslob Whale Shark Watching

Day 6 - Day 6: Cebu Oslob Whale Shark Watching, Sumilon Sandbar & Tumalog Falls Private Tour with Lunch & Transfers

You’ll be back touring on day 6. This time, you’ll head to Oslob and board a boat that will take you into the open waters, where you can get close to whale sharks. Once you are close enough to these majestic creatures, you can swim and snorkel near them, but make sure you do not touch or disturb them for everyone's safety. While seeing whale sharks on this tour is not guaranteed, it is highly likely.

After seeing whale sharks, you’ll head to Sumilon Sandbar, which is famous for its changing shape, which depends on the weather and the season. Once you are done enjoying the views and swimming in the clear waters, you will head to your last stop, Tumalog Falls, which is famous for its stunning cascades and natural pool, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip. (Tumalog Falls is temporarily closed and will be temporarily replaced by a monkey-viewing activity in Oslob.)

Day 7 - Day 7: Arrival in Cebu + Check-in + Add-on Tour

After checking out of your accommodations in Moalboal, you will head to Cebu City via land transfers. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Cebu City, where you will check in. Once you have settled in your room, you are free to explore the hotel or the nearby areas on your own. If you want a guided tour of the city, you can book an add-on tour that will take you to some of the top attractions of the city.

If you book this tour, you will be able to visit sites including Magellan’s Cross, Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño, the Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House, and the Capitol Site. After your tour, you will be brought back to your hotel, where you can prepare for your flight the next day.

Cebu City at night

Day 8 - Day 8: Checkout + Departure

Your 8 days in the Philippines is coming to an end. In the morning, you can still explore the nearby areas of your hotel, shop for souvenirs, and try more of the local delicacies. When you are ready, check out of your hotel in Cebu City before your driver picks you up and takes you to Mactan-Cebu International Airport. You will board your plane here and arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport after around an hour and 25 minutes of flight time.

UPDATE: Tumalog Falls in Cebu has been temporarily closed by the local government of Oslob starting March 17, 2024, until further notice. Please be advised that instead of visiting the falls, you will enjoy a monkey-viewing activity in Oslob.
