Immerse yourself on this 8-day guided tour where you get to visit some of the most sought-after destinations in Luzon. You will explore the historical landmarks in Baguio and Ilocos and the breathtaking natural wonders in Palawan. This vacation package is complete with entrance fees, accommodation with daily breakfast, service of guides, and transfers. Luzon is the biggest among the three main islands of the Philippines, and it is jam-packed with attractions that are all worth visiting.

Upon arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, you will begin your tour with the historic walled area within the City of Manila called Intramuros. A centuries-old district, Intramuros is home to plenty of museums, campuses, and fortresses, among others. You will also explore the North Luzon regions, and the towering Bangui Windmills are one of your stops in Pagudpud. This attraction comprises 20 wind turbines lined up along a scenic shoreline facing the West Philippine Sea. Your guide will also take you to Calle Crisologo, a famous well-preserved cobblestoned street in Vigan.

From Ilocos, you will head south to the mountainous province of Benguet, where you will find Baguio. Dubbed the City of Pines, Baguio is home to Camp John Hay, a previous US military base that transformed into a tourist destination. After North Luzon, you will go to the Province of Palawan next for a two-day water adventure.

Day 1

Day 1 - Day 1: Intramuros Tour

Your plane will land at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, and from there, your van will take you to your accommodation along Roxas Boulevard in the City of Manila. The entire day is dedicated to visiting the historical, religious, and cultural structures within Intramuros, a historic walled area in Manila. For your first stop, you will make your way to Fort Santiago. This 16th-century citadel witnessed the tragic World War II. Your guide will then take you to Plaza Roma, a major public square used as a venue for different events during the Spanish colonization. From there, you will visit the Bahay Tsinoy, which depicts the historic relationship Filipinos established with the Ethnic Chinese. You will proceed to another museum, Casa Manila, where you will learn about Filipinos’ lifestyle during the Spanish colonial era. San Diego Gardens will be your next stop. This well-landscaped attraction sits next to Baluarte De San Diego, a 16th-century bastion that features three concentric circular structures. You will also drop by the Baroque-style San Agustin Church and Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site before capping off your day at the Neo-Romanesque Manila Cathedral, the Manila Archbishop’s episcopal seat.

Day 2 - Day 2: Laoag Tour

On the second day, you will travel up to Ilocos Norte via plane. It will be a short flight from Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Laoag Airport. Upon your arrival, your van will take you directly to your Laoag hotel. First, you will make a stop at St. Williams Cathedral, also called Laoag Cathedral. Established in 1612, this Italian Renaissance-style building survived a major earthquake back in 1983. Next is the famous Sinking Bell Tower. This attraction sinks into the ground about an inch every year as it stands on a sandy foundation. Your guide will then take you to the Museo Ilocos Norte, which used to be a Tabacalera warehouse. It now houses an extensive collection of Ilocano artifacts, traditional clothing, household utensils, and more. Aurora Park will be your last stop in Laoag City, the site where the Tobacco Monopoly Monument is erected. From Laoag, your van will drive you to the town of Paoay. Here, you will first visit the Malacanang of the North, which was the residence of late Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos. Your last two destinations are the Paoay Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Marcos Museum, where you will see the late president’s memorabilia.

Day 3 - Day 3: Pagudpud Tour

On Day 3, this vacation package will take you further north of Luzon. From your accommodation in Laoag City, you will travel to the town of Burgos via van. The Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is one of the go-to destinations in Burgos. It was first lit in 1892 and still functions at present. Your next stop is also a towering attraction, the Bangui Windmills. It is a group of 20 wind turbines that stand 70 meters tall and are arranged in a single line along the Bangui Bay shoreline. You will then go to the Patapat Viaduct, a long bridge that links the Ilocos Region to Cagayan Valley. Situated at the end of Patapat Viaduct is Agua Grande. This picnic park has a natural stream that runs directly to Pasaleng Bay. Afterward, you will head to Paraiso ni Anton that features a religious grotto, as well as to the picturesque Kapurpurawan Rock Formation. Your final stop is the Pasuquin Salt Stand. Here, you can purchase local products such as salt and salt-preserved food, including fish, in the coastal town of Pasuquin. Before heading back to your Laoag hotel, you have the option to experience a 4x4 ride at La Paz Sand Dunes.

Day 4 - Day 4: Vigan Tour

The fourth day of your 8-day tour will take place in Ilocos Sur. You will explore Vigan City first, one of the few preserved Spanish colonial towns in the Philippines. For your first stop, your guide will bring you to the National Museum Ilocos Sur Complex. This ancestral house that now serves as a museum belonged to Padre Burgos, one of the martyr priests executed by the Spaniards in the 19th century. Your next destination is Bantay Church and Bell Tower, which is situated in the town of Bantay. From there, you will then visit Syquia Mansion Museum, a 19th-century building where you’ll learn about the events during the Spanish colonization. You’ll also get familiar with traditional pottery at Pagburnayan Jar Factory. After that, you’ll visit another museum, Crisologo Museum. The attraction is initially a residence of the Crisologo political family. Nearby is Calle Crisologo, which is lined with impressive Spanish houses. Then, you’ll drop by the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral. This 18th-century building is considered an Earthquake Baroque-style church. You will make your final stop at Baluarte, a zoological park where you’ll find various animals, including Bengal tigers, white lions, leopards, and more. Once you finish your Vigan tour, your van will take you to your hotel in Baguio.

Day 5 - Day 5: Baguio Tour

On Day 5, you will be visiting some of Baguio’s top attractions. This city is dubbed the Summer Capital of the Philippines, owing to its cool climate that draws many people to the place. Your Baguio Tour starts at the Philippine Military Academy, which trains Filipinos who want to pursue a career in the military field. The Mansion, the Philippine President’s summer palace, is also located in Baguio. Here, you will find a museum displaying presidential memorabilia. Camp John Hay is another top city attraction you’ll visit. It was a military base that the US Armed Forces used during World War II. From there, you will drop by the Mines View Park afterward. It has an observation deck where you can enjoy a great view of the Itogon mining town and its neglected copper and gold mines. Your guide will also take you to Wright Park for some horseback riding and a quick stroll. The next stop will be Centennial Park, where you can go around lovely gardens and visit an art gallery. Capping off your tour will be a visit to the Good Shepherd Convent. You can purchase goodies like peanut brittle, jams, and more here. You’ll head back to your Manila hotel after the tour.

Tourists in Honda Bay Palawan

Day 6 - Day 6: Puerto Princesa Honda Bay Island Hopping Tour

You will fly to the Province of Palawan on the sixth day of your vacation package. After checking out of your accommodation in Manila, your van will drive you straight to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. From there, the flight commonly takes less than two hours to arrive at Puerto Princesa International Airport. On this day, you will visit some of the best islands dotting the popular Honda Bay. This destination is close to Puerto Princesa City and is known for its white-sand beaches and abundant marine life. Your boat will take you first to Starfish Island. From its name, you can easily figure out what you can expect to see on this place: starfishes! You may also spot some yellowtail snappers and pufferfish while snorkeling. Your next stop is Cowrie Island, a shell-shaped island known to be the biggest one in Honda Bay. You are safe to swim in the island’s pristine waters as there’s a netted area to keep jellyfishes away from visitors. The island-hopping tour will end on Luli Island. It is actually a sandbar that emerges and disappears, depending on the tide. Once you return to mainland Palawan, your van will bring you to your Sabang accommodation.

Day 7 - Day 7: Port Barton Island Hopping Tour

On the seventh day, you will be visiting a hidden gem on the western coast of northern Palawan, the village of Port Barton. You will ride a van to the tranquil town of San Vicente, where Port Barton is situated. Lying off the coast of Port Barton are several islands and natural attractions, and you will be visiting some of them. The first stop of your island hopping tour will be Inaladelan, a 12-hectare island that has become a go-to camping site. Also called German Island, this place offers various sports facilities such as beach volleyball and kayaks. From Inaladelan, your boat will take you to Luli Sandbar. This attraction got its name from its aspect of appearing during low tide and submerging during high tide. It is an ideal spot to enjoy a magnificent sunset or spot some starfishes. Next, your guide will bring you to the Turtle Snorkeling Site, where you get to see and swim with sea turtles. You will then proceed to the Fish and Coral Snorkeling site to see more colorful fishes and beautiful corals. After a fun day out in the sea, it’s time to head back to your hotel in the village of Sabang.

This marks the end of your 8-day vacation package. You will check out your accommodation in Sabang and then directly head to the Puerto Princesa International Airport via van. The trip usually takes less than two hours from Palawan to Manila. The plane will land at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
