Day 1
Baluarte de San Diego inside Intramuros

Day 1 - Day 1: Intramuros Tour

The first day of your vacation package is the day you'll arrive in the Philippines. The plane will land at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, and from there, your van will take you to your accommodation along or around Roxas Boulevard in Manila. Afterward, you'll be on your way to Intramuros, a historic walled city in Manila that features cultural, historical, and religious structures. Your guide will first show you Fort Santiago. Built in 1593, this citadel was used as a fortress. From the fort, you'll head to one of the major public squares in Intramuros, Plaza Roma. This is where locals hosted different events during the Spanish colonial era. Your next stop is Bahay Tsinoy, which houses Kaisa-Angelo King Heritage Center that shows the long relationship between Filipinos and ethnic Chinese. Casa Manila is another museum you'll visit. This building exhibits the kind of lifestyle the Philippines had during Spanish colonization. Your guide will also bring you to the lovely, well-landscaped San Diego Gardens. A few steps away is Baluarte De San Diego, which was constructed during the 1590s. Your last two stops are the UNESCO World Heritage San Agustin Church and Museum and Manila Cathedral, the Philippines' premier church.

Tourists exploring Mt. Pinatubo in a 4x4 ATV ride

Day 2 - Day 2: Mt. Pinatubo Tour

You will spend your second day at Mt. Pinatubo, located in the provinces of Tarlac, Zambales, and Pampanga. This active stratovolcano is infamous for its 1991 eruption that affected climate across the globe. The tour for this day involves trekking, so be sure to wear the proper hiking gear and bring plenty of water. From your Manila hotel, your van will bring you to Barangay Sta. Juliana in Tarlac, where the base camp is situated. You will ride a 4x4 jeepney at the camp that will help you cross a terrain that has become rugged and rocky and even full of lahar because of Mt. Pinatubo's eruption. The 4x4 jeep will only get you through Crow Valley, and the rest of the journey will be made on foot. The trek up to the view deck is easy enough to be completed by beginners. As soon as you reach the end of the trail, expect to be rewarded with a magnificent view of the volcano's crater lake. Feel free to take lots of photos of this breathtaking attraction. After your Mt. Pinatubo Tour, you will travel further north towards Baguio, where you will check into a new hotel.

Day 3 - Day 3: Benguet Tour

On the third day, your guide will drive you to some of the top attractions in Luzon highlands, specifically in the province of Benguet. This location is dubbed the Salad Bowl of the Philippines as it is one of the leading suppliers of fresh vegetables in the country. Approximately 8km from Baguio is La Trinidad Strawberry Farm, the first stop of your tour. This 79-hectare farm harvests an average of 1,775 metric tons of strawberries per year and lets visitors pick this fruit on their own. The following stop will be Atok Sakura Flowers. The site is planted with more than 30 cherry blossom trees that will soon bloom every year. You will then visit Northern Blossom, another tourist destination filled with lovely flowers. Roses, cabbage roses, and sunflowers are just a few of the flowers planted here. After that, you will make your way to a higher location in Benguet, the 2nd Highest Point. Set along the Halsema Highway, this attraction boasts the second-highest altitude in the Philippines. Day 4 - Day 4: Sagada Tour

On Day 4, you will leave Benguet and travel to the Mountain Province via van. Expect a bumpy ride and zigzag roads on the way to the town of Sagada. The water goes down to Barangay Ambasing and irrigates the Kapay-aw Rice Fields. Next, you will head to Echo Valley, a natural area with lush foliage, trails, and caverns. This will be the way to the prominent hanging coffins of the Mountain Province. Locals hang coffins as part of their traditional burial, which they have practiced for over 2,000 years. Baguio City view at night from Mines View Park

Day 5 - Day 5: Baguio Tour

The City of Baguio is your destination on Day 5. It is one of the most-visited locations during summer because of its cool climate. You will proceed to the shell-shaped Cowrie Island, the biggest one among the islands in Honda Bay. It will be safe enough to swim as the island has a netted area to ensure jellyfishes won't come near the shore.
