Day 1 - Day 1: Intramuros Tour

You will meet your guide at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport upon your arrival. From there, they will drive you to your accommodation in Manila or along Roxas Boulevard to drop off your things before proceeding with your Intramuros tour. A centuries-old walled district in the heart of Manila, Intramuros is famous for its myriad of historical structures, including Fort Santiago. This was where the national hero, Jose Rizal, was imprisoned before he was executed in December 1896. A quick walk from the prison area is the public square of Plaza Roma. Sitting in the heart of Intramuros, the yard was the typical venue for various events held during the Spanish era. The walled city also houses several fascinating museums, including Bahay Tsinoy and Casa Manila. The former keeps some ceramic collections, prints, and photographs telling the history of the Ethnic Chinese, while the latter models the Spanish colonial architecture and lifestyle. From there, relax in the refreshing atmosphere of the San Diego Gardens and Baluarte De San Diego before heading to the San Agustin Church and Museum. Dubbed as the oldest Philippine stone church, the San Agustin Church is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will cap off the tour with a visit to the episcopal seat of the Archbishop of Manila, Manila Cathedral.

Day 2 - Day 2: Baguio Tour

After checking out at your Manila hotel, your guide will drive you north to Baguio, the Philippines' Summer Capital. The city sits at 5,200 ft above sea level, making its climate colder than that of Manila. That said, make sure to pack some jackets or sweaters for this day. The first spot you will visit in the city is the Philippine Military Academy (PMA). Established in 1936, this premier institution for aspiring military officers is open for tourists almost daily from 8 am to 5 pm. About a half-hour drive from PMA is The Mansion, where the Philippine President can stay during the summer. You will also be dropping by Camp John Hay. A former US military base, this paradise caters to tourists who enjoy biking, golfing, and trekking. From there, you will enjoy more stimulating activities at some of the city's parks, including Mines View Park, Wright Park, and Centennial Park. These recreational spots are only within a ten-minute drive of each other and are packed with stunning views and activities like horseback riding and photo-ops. Before heading to your hotel, you will make a stop at Good Shepherd Convent to buy some tasty local products as souvenirs. Another flower-themed attraction you will visit will be the Northern Blossom. Known for its variety of flowers like cabbage roses and snapdragons, this two-hectare-wide property is surrounded by pine-covered mountains and several vegetable farms. Your guide will then drive you to the 2nd Highest Point, named for being the second-highest altitude on the Philippine highway system. The site stands at an elevation of 7,400 ft above sea level and is located along the Halsema Highway. Finally, your day will end at the man-made Spanish Trail.
