Unravel the secrets of the past and take a walk in the walled city of Intramuros in Manila. This trip will let you learn about Philippine history as you listen to compelling and grim stories during the Spanish colonial era. Day 1

Day 1 - Day 1: Intramuros Tour

Your arrival at Ninoy Aquino International Airport marks the first day of your tour. Your private van will pick you up and take you to your hotel in Manila or near Roxas Boulevard. You will spend your fun-filled day wandering across iconic structures and historic buildings in Intramuros. First, you will drop by Fort Santiago. This defense fortress served as a prison cell for political prisoners in the late 1500s. Plaza Roma is another notable structure in Intramuros that shelters the statue of King Charles IV of Spain. It has become a public square and trade center in the past. Bahay Tsinoy and Casa Manila are next on your list. Here, you will learn about the contributions of ethnic Chinese. You will also sneak a peek into the extravagant lifestyle of the gentry in the 19th century. At San Diego Gardens, you will see pergolas and gazebos. The garden is right across Baluarte De San Diego, a 16th-century bastion. To conclude your day, you will visit two impressive churches in Intramuros. San Agustin Church and Museum is the oldest stone church in the Philippines. Finally, you will marvel at the grand facades of Manila Cathedral, which is over 400 years old.

Day 2 - Day 2: Bohol Cambuhat Tour

You will leave Manila and board a plane going to Bohol on the second day of your tour. From there, your private van will take you to your hotel in Panglao, Bohol. Your Bohol eco-adventure begins in the town of Buenavista. You will start your day immersing in the tiny village of Cambuhat River Community. To reach the community, you have to paddle your way through the Cambuhat River. You will come upon a mangrove forest and nipa huts while gazing upon the serene and relaxing atmosphere of the river. Once you arrive at the village, you will head over to the community center. When you step inside the Cambuhat Village, you will get a closer look at their life and culture. The village people aim to develop and promote eco-friendly practices while making use of their natural resources. The Cambuhat Oyster Farm serves as the source of livelihood for the community. They even serve delectable shellfish and other seafood for guests. You can find their oyster farm at the border of the river. Aside from oyster farming, the locals also rely on weaving using looms. They create baskets, hats, brooms, and mats. Afterward, you will return to your hotel.

Day 3 - Day 3: Bohol Pamilacan Island Tour

For your third day, your next destination is Pamilacan Island. It is a popular diving spot at the heart of the Bohol Sea that exhibits rich marine biodiversity. You can even spot whales and dolphins en route to the island. The island is small and has only a thousand residents, making it easy to wander around its scenic attractions. Back in the 90s, the locals were hunting whales and manta rays. However, since the government prohibited this illegal act, the locals decided to rely on tourism as their livelihood. Once you reach the island, you can snorkel or dive around and beyond its magnificent seascape. While you’re at it, you can find a diverse range of marine species such as bucket sponges, moray eels, and sea snakes at Pamilacan’s sanctuary. You can also swim with sea turtles. If you ever get tired of swimming and diving, you can rest a bit and sink your feet on the white sand. For your next activity, you can go up the Pamilacan watchtower to get a better view of the surrounding waters and natural rock formations. Day 4 - Day 4: Bohol Countryside Tour

Bohol is an island province that comprises both natural and artificial attractions. Your Bohol adventure won’t be complete without touring around its countryside attractions. On the fourth day of your tour, your van will pick you up from your hotel. Your first destination is Corella Tarsier Sanctuary. Home to the smallest primates, this wildlife sanctuary nurtures adorable and friendly-looking tarsiers for guests to gaze freely. Next, you will board an enchanting cruise along the jade-like waters of the Loboc River. Day 5 - Day 5: Cebu City Tour

On Day 5, you will head to Cebu via ferry transfer. Once you arrive, you will be staying in Mandaue. Your private van will fetch you and take you to your first destination in Taoist Temple. The temple is on top of a hill, exhibiting a replica of the Great Wall of China and dragon statues. You can also find a souvenir shop inside the temple complex. In downtown Cebu, you will marvel at Basilica Minore Del Santo Nino, the oldest Roman Catholic church in the Philippines. Across the church, you can find the famous Magellan’s Cross. At the Heritage of Cebu Monument, you will learn more about the rich history of Cebu. It features the Spanish galleon, the Battle of Mactan, and the late president Sergio Osmena. Then, you will visit the ancestral Yap - San Diego Ancestral House. You will pay a short visit to the Temple of Leah. Deemed as the Taj Mahal of Cebu, this majestic temple is Teodorico Adarna’s grand gesture of love and tribute to her beloved wife, Leah Albino-Adarna. At the end of your tour, you will visit the colorful blooms of Sirao Flower Farm. It is known as the Little Amsterdam of Cebu.

Day 6 - Day 6: Kawasan Falls and Moalboal Sardine Run Tour

For your sixth day, you will leave the city to prepare for an exhilarating adventure. You will go on a canyoneering escapade through the beautiful gorges and river canyons of Kawasan Falls. Feel the adrenaline pumping through your body as you scramble, climb, rappel, and swim through the rugged edges of the three-tiered cascading waterfalls. Once you finally reach the falls, you can jump off the cliff as high as 30 feet. Then, plunge into its cold emerald-blue waters. There are also natural pools and lagoons in the surrounding area. After your pulse-pounding adventure, you will head over to the famed shores of Moalboal. You will swim alongside a school of countless sardines at Pescador Island. Moalboal is a world-class dive site that boasts abundant corals and colorful exotic fishes. The underwater cave known as the Cathedral is considered one of the famous diving spots among divers. You can swim, snorkel, and dive underneath the deep blue waters to witness flourishing marine sanctuaries. Day 7 - Day 7: Puerto Princesa Honda Bay Island Hopping Tour

On your seventh day, you will be flying off to Puerto Princesa from Mactan-Cebu International Airport. Your jam-packed day begins with a boat ride to reach the powdery sandbars and majestic islands of Honda Bay. Several international travel magazines recognize Palawan as one of the world’s best islands. Apart from El Nido and Coron, you can also find some of its majestic beaches and islands in Puerto Princesa. At Honda Bay, you will go on an island-hopping tour around three of its famed islands. Here, you can snorkel through underwater gardens and stroll along white-sand beaches. You will first visit Starfish Island, where you can spot different kinds of starfish beneath the rippling waves. Other marine species include pufferfish and yellowtail snappers. Cowrie Island is your next destination. It is a shell-shaped island and the largest among all of the islands in Honda Bay. Some of the water activities you can do include kayaking, snorkeling, and banana boat riding. You can also have a picnic lunch at the cabanas and huts throughout the bay. Your last destination is Luli Island. You can strike a pose on the long stretch of sandbar that appears depending on the shifting tides.

Day 8 - Day 8: Puerto Princesa Underground River and City Tour

The last leg of your Palawan tour will take place in the Puerto Princesa Underground River. You will ride a boat via Sabang Boat Terminal to reach Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. Inside the cave, you can admire uniquely shaped stalactites and stalagmites. Recognized as one of the New7Wonders of Nature in 2011, the Puerto Princesa Underground River boasts striking limestone rock formations and cave systems. The 8km-long underground river sprawls over 22,000 hectares. It is also known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After traversing the underground river, you will head to the city proper. Your first destination is Baker’s Hill, where you can purchase local pastries and baked treats. Next, you will visit Plaza Cuartel. It is a former penal colony and Spanish garrison that turned into a leisure park. You will also drop by Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, a research center and crocodile breeding facility. Here, you can have an up-close encounter with these gigantic semi-aquatic reptiles. Then, you will hike up the observation deck at Mitra’s Ranch. This hilltop park sits at the highest point in the city. Finally, conclude your day at Puerto Princesa Baywalk to catch the sunset.
