Day 3 - Day 3: Bohol Pamilacan Island Tour

The next leg of your Bohol tour continues in Pamilacan Island. You will hop on a short boat ride to reach the island. Pamilacan Island sits at the heart of the Bohol Sea and boasts flourishing marine biodiversity. This remote island only has a thousand residents. Back in the 90s, the locals relied on whale and manta ray hunting for their livelihood. However, the government has prohibited this illegal practice and provided tourism jobs for the residents. While passing through the pristine and vast seascape of Bohol, you can watch out for whales and dolphins that may pop out of the water. Once you reach Pamilacan Island, you can snorkel around and dive into its underwater sanctuaries to discover more of what lies underneath. You can even get a rare opportunity to swim with sea turtles. After coursing through the waves, you can rest a bit and relax on the powdery white-sand beach.
