Day 1

Day 1: Arrival + Check-in

Upon arrival, check-in at the reception and then settle into your room to rest. Enjoy the hotel facilities at the Venus Parkview Hotel or the Forest Lodge Baguio if you choose to upgrade.

Day 2: Arts & Museum Tour

Breathe in the cool mountain air and head over to the hotel restaurant for your complimentary breakfast. Prepare for a full day’s tour, beginning with a trip to the centuries-old Casa Villejo, the oldest hotel in the city that is adjacent to Hill Station, a popular restaurant serving delicious fusion dishes. You’ll then proceed to the Baguio Museum, where they display cultural artifacts and dioramas of Ifugao traditional homes.

Continue your immersion in the local culture at the Museo Cordillera, an ethnographic museum that aims to preserve the indigenous heritage of people from the Cordillera Administrative Region.

The next leg of your tour focuses on artisans in their element, starting off with Ili-Likha Artist Village, a food and art hub founded by film director “Kidlat Tahimik”, followed by a visit to the Easter Weaving Room, where weavers using traditional techniques can be observed in action. Hand-loomed items like placemats, rugs, clothing, and accessories are sold at the adjacent shop.

Afterward, you’ll proceed to Tam-awan Village, an open-air museum and artist colony that features a reconstructed Cordillera village. It serves as a venue for exhibits and art workshops. The last two stops include the BenCab museum, which houses the national artist’s permanent painting collection and the Ifugao Woodcarvers Village, where workshops of native woodcarvers are located.
