Information about Anda Beach
The municipality of Anda houses Bohol’s best-kept white sand beaches. An emerging favorite tourist destination, Anda Beach is around 110 KM away from Tagbilaran. The beach is located on the eastern coast of the island in the small town after its namesake. The three-kilometer stretch of powdery white sand is often likened to the shores of the world-famous Boracay Island.
Along with its smooth shore, Anda Beach also boasts clear waters that are home to an ecosystem teeming with marine life.
While it is known for its beaches, Anda is also famous for its deep blue cave pools such as Combento, Cateres, Kaligoon, Tiburako, East Coast and Cabagnow. The last cave pool is said to be the “biggest and most beautiful.” These cave pools also provide great conditions for swimmers.
How to Get There
Travelers can reach Anda Beach by taking a van or bus from Dao Termina in Tagbilaran City. You can also drive a private car from the city and pass through Bohol Circumferential Road. Otherwise, you can book tour packages that include a stop at the beach for a hassle-free trip.
Best time to visit
To enjoy a sunny day at Anda Beach, it is best to visit from the months of November to April when there are fewer chances of rainfall.
