Café Lawis
Café Lawis is a premier coffee shop located within the Dauis Pilgrim-Heritage Center, just a few meters away from Dauis Church. Due to its geographic condition, the main sources of income of the locals in Dauis are farming, fishing, carpentry, jewelry, and shell craft making. The locals also earn from other small-scale home-based processing of food products such as the purple yam popularly known as “ube kinampay”, which is also served in Café Lawis.
Nestled by the beach under the Acacia trees, Café Lawis serves some of the most popular Dauisanon and Boholano cuisine. Some of their specialties are the Pork Humba Panini, Ube Pandesal, and their Souffle cakes. They also serve western meals such as salads and pasta meals.
How to get there
Dauis is a 4th class municipality situated in Panglao Island, within the Province of Bohol. It is composed of 12 Barangays and has a landmass of 4,288 hectares. Dauis is one of the two municipalities in Panglao Island, the other being Panglao. From Tagbilaran City, it is located 3.1 kilometers southwest.
