Chocolate Hills Adventure Park

The Chocolate Hills Adventure Park is an Eco-tourism venture in Carmen, Bohol that offers over  30 activities for tourists.  It is famous for “The Rush”, a bicycle zipline that spans two hills 550 meters apart and 150 feet above the ground.

Location and Geography

Situated in Barangay Buenos Aires in Carmen, Bohol, the Chocolate Hills Adventure Park is only about 58 kilometers away from Tagbilaran City, Bohol’s capital. 

Carmen is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Bohol. Composed of 29 barangays and with a land area of 428.74 square miles, Carmen is one of the most popular places in Bohol because of the world-renowned Chocolate Hills.

Carmen is a small rural town that both local and foreign tourists visit almost every day since the Chocolate Hills has been declared as one of the Wonders of the World. Considered as Bohol’s signature attraction, the Chocolate Hills are conical and dome-shaped hills that form a rolling terrain. During the dry season, the grass-covered hills dry up and turn chocolate brown. 

The Chocolate Hills Adventure Park is located at Buenos Aires, Carmen and offers a panoramic view of the famous Chocolate Hills, together with their adrenaline-pumping activities and attractions. 

What to Do in Chocolate Hills Adventure Park

Take in the view of the Chocolate Hills as you make your way across a zipline through a special hanging bike, from their famous attraction called “The Rush”. If you’re not into pedaling, you may the “waverunner”, the first and only surfboard zipline in Asia. Aside from ziplines, they also have treetop adventures where tourists can test their mind and body coordination through different treetop courses, ranging from easy to difficult.

Other physical activities include mountain biking and horseback riding where you can visit the Chocolate hills up close. Travelers can also try their Spider Man Wall Climbing, Tarzan Swing and Yokuzuna Sumo Wrestling. 

For tourists who aren’t fans of physical activities, they may try fish and chicken feeding or they could visit the different attractions within the eco-park such as the Butterfly Garden and Serpentarium.
