Danao Lake
Danao Lake is a great location that benefits from nature's calming, healing touch. The 3 acre Danao Lake, often known as "mari-it" or "enchanted," is the highland region of San Remigio's natural home for freshwater fish and birds. The tiniest fish in the world, the tabios or sinarapan, is also raised here. A 30-minute stroll through abaca plantations and carabao pathways leads to the lake. Bring a guide if possible for a more safe experience. Danao Lake offers a thrilling setting; it is encircled by thick greenery, and is a refuge for anglers due to the abundance of huge eels and other freshwater fish. How to get there To reach the lake, you will have to go on a 15 minute nature trekking from the national road of Brgy. Aningalan. You can also opt for a motorbike ride straight to the area, or join Lake Danao guided tours.
