Orchidarium
The Orchidarium, a park within a park, is situated inside Luneta park. It was formerly a parking lot before being transformed into a 1-hectare park with a rainforest-like atmosphere. The Orchidarium, which opened its doors in 1994, has several orchid varieties as well as a butterfly pavilion supported by Nokia. The Philippines is said to have the world's largest collection of orchids. The orchidarium is a popular location for weddings as well. once known as the butterfly and orchid pavilion.
A rich variety of orchids, bromeliads, mums, poinsettias, roses, and other vibrant flowers are shown in this one-hectare theme park. The Orchidarium, which was originally devoted to orchids, today features a variety of blossoms, perfumes, and greenery. The Orchidarium captivates visitors in addition to its variety of plants with its beautiful lagoon, crystal waterfalls, climbing wall, a recreation of a man-made rain forest, and butterfly paradise.
How to get there
Aside from taking the LRT to T.M. Kalaw, there are FX that are bound for Sucat-Lawton along Roxas Boulevard. You may ask to be dropped off at Luneta after riding an FX or via the LRT - T.M. Kalaw.
Best time to visit
It is open from 5 AM to 10 AM, and from 11 AM to 8 PM.
