Alona Beach in Panglao Island Bohol

Panglao Island is Bohol's best beach destination. It is situated southwest of Bohol and south of Cebu. Suarez Bridge and Gov. Borja Bridge which links Panglao to Bohol's main island. It includes two municipalities: Dauis and Panglao. Alona Beach and Dumaluan Beach are situated in the Panglao municipality.

Most of Bohol's top hotels and resorts are on Panglao Island. Most sun, sea, and sand lovers stay in this part of the province due to its proximity to pristine beaches and islands.

The island's top beach destination with most luxury hotels, restaurants, and bars is Alona Beach. Renowned for its long stretch of white sand and crystal-clear waters. You should try water activities like parasailing, banana boat, fly fish, and UFO trip aside from working on your tan and doing different activities.

How to get there

Panglao Island is connected to Tagbilaran City via two bridges. Travelers can either take the Dauis Bridge or Borja Bridge to reach the island. You can also reach the island via plane by taking a flight directly to Panglao International Airport.

Travelers can visit Panglao Island all year round. The best time to visit is around November to April when the weather in the Philippines is cooler. There are also fewer chances of rain during these months, so you can make the most of your trip to this pristine beach.
