Tacloban Astrodome
The Tacloban City Convention Center, commonly referred to as the Tacloban Astrodome or the Tacloban City Coliseum, is a venue that is inside and is situated in Tacloban, the Philippines. The venue can accommodate 4,500 people. The building, which cost 200 million pesos to construct, had its soft opening in June 2006. Basketball, concerts, local events, and other conventions are its main uses. After the Ormoc Superdome in Ormoc, it is the second-largest indoor arena in the Eastern Visayas area.
Several of the Philippine Basketball Association's out-of-town games are played in the arena. Additionally, the arena hosts boxing matches, conventions, graduation ceremonies, trade shows, concerts, concerts, and other special events like the Ms. Tacloban pageant.
How to get there
You can ride a bus or plane going to Tacloban. Once there, tell the driver to drop you off at Tacloban Astrodome.
Best time to visit
This convention center is open daily from 8:30 AM to 11 PM but on varied hours.
